2ºEllen Schwarzwalder yeah I did a lot to end poverty, the people from my community decided to build careers, they decided to build businesses, get jobs... if anybody is using them it's democrats, mean you telling them take this free money, blame those who have never even met them, using fear and manipulation to get votes from these people then do nothing to help, why wouldn't you offer to help them to build a productive society? Rather than tell them it's okay to live in a destructive violent one? Probably because you don't care.
And tbh, this girl, you are right I don't care... Definitely isn't a good thing, but people die tragically every day. It's not good, but it's part of life.
3ºEllen Schwarzwalder when you are growing up being told there is no point to try in school, when police are told to stand down and let gang violence thrive, when you are told you need to wait for the rest of the world to give you free things and that is the only way you can improve your life, how are you supposed to succeed.... I mean you kind of create that culture, and tbh I wouldn't flex working in Chicago, that's one of the worst communities in the country, you are definitely not helping your case by telling me YOU are part of that problem.
4ºNatalia Mack back in the 80s, I was babysitting my little brother and I took him in his stroller for a walk to the store, and it started to storm. Now when I look back, I was way too young to be watching him, I was probably 12. But anyway, it started to hail fast. I ran with my brother in his stroller to a house nearby and we stood on the porch until it passed. It's possible these people were out when it happened, and had nowhere to go for cover. They could have been walking through a field with no homes or shelter nearby.

But nobody has to tell them there isn’t a point to not try in school, all they have to do is look around their neighborhood and the condition of their schools. They have plenty of teachers pretending if they just try hard enough then magically everything will be fixed, meanwhile because of state disinvestment of schools ever since the Regan Administration they have schools falling apart, that can’t attract the most qualified teachers, have books that are decades old, you think that tells them “people want me to succeed”.
