Melanie Cummings Do you know the definition of fascism? It's premise is how Trump tried (and failed) to remain in power when our democracy said otherwise.

I know it's hard to separate what you've been taught to believe with what is actually happening, I've been there when my religion taught me to believe Dinosaurs didn't exist when facts (fossils) would tell me otherwise, but in doing so you allow yourself to grow and heal from years of lies and deceit. So to sum up, not really sure what premise you have saying Biden is the authoritative when Trump was doing exactly what the definition of fascist is.

Amanda Lay Hess You're looking at our country all wrong. In order to explain to you what republicans or more specifically conservatives are all about and have policies that promote our country's values, in order to explain that, *we* have to agree on the outcome that we want. Perhaps you and I want different things.

For example:

You want fascism? I would think not - then why support a President and regime who is ruling by executive order, fiat, consolidating power in a more and more powerful central government nationalizing institutions like health care and voting while seeking policies that neuter states' sovereignty. I'm wondering if Joe Biden thinks our country truly is *semi-fascist* or not fascist enough.

Perhaps you want to move our way of life from a Constitutional Representative Republic to a more authoritarian centralized state?

Tommy Bou so that makes murdering a journalist okay? The point is, we shouldn't have so much violence on our streets as we do. But focus for years has been towards the "war on drugs" and we see where that has gotten us, lots of non violent drug offenders sitting time out and taking space while the true crime of violence on the streets occurs. With our policies we've allowed our country to get this way. I wish we would refocus on the true evil of this country, but there are way too many people right now showing their true colors that violence is exactly what they want.

Shanda Edwards Lunatic Donald Trump started the war on the press because they did'nt admire his misbehavior. Once they started telling the public what he had done in private and was doing behind the curtains in the White House he became very angry and launched the war against them. That's how he tried to stifle Freedom of the Press and has continued to do so to this very day .get your facts straight. He's the only American President that's ever gone to these extremes. I'm sure a Democrat or a Republican party member has killed a press employee but nobody has ever deliberately demanded we set out to kill members of the press or vilify them in the way that Republicans and Donald Trump has done.

Anthony Switalski Awe, you poor thing. Don’t understand the meaning of Dems holding people accountable by voting them out of office, huh? I can perfectly understand why, since your party doesn’t do that sort of thing. They do everything to vote criminals IN — and keep them there at all costs. We’ve all lost count of the long list of republicans officials that have PLEAD GUILTY to, currently being indicted on, impeached for, and been CONVICTED of an ENDLESS list of crimes from the last administration; but if you need some reminding of that LONG list of folks, I’m sure I can find one for ya (or ten). We can compare notes about the ridiculous number of dem vs. repubs then. I guess I can’t blame you for getting excited about the few that turn out to be dems (even if we responsibly dumped them before they got even goofier lol). Awwwe, so sad for you

Andy Cavassa Yes, I realize that too... yet people like the purdue pharma execs are free from all harm even after pushing such a dangerous drug. Our country is sick, just look around at all of the places where we are hemorrhaging and unable to help people who need help and it will tell you everything you need to know about our state. We can only set forth change by VOTING for people who have visions of change. That is literally our one voice in all of what is happening because that is our democratic process. It's dumb, I know, but that's what we got.

Dave Comstock show me where I ever said they were?
It's the democrats who literally pretend the only ones who are violent concerning politics !
Do you admit Antifa exists? Or are you also one who only sees violence if you can blame a republican?
How about BLM ? Do you support them rioting and injuring police or even worse killing some?
How about a Democrat loon celebrity (if you think she's really anything more than a has been comedian ) Kathy Griffin saying if Republicans win the midterms ,there's gonna be a civil war?
I'm smart enough to know there's bad on both sides ... but are you?

Alicia Berg is that the new pejorative Democrats use to bully those with whom you disagree? Ya'll must've worn out "racist" from misusing it so much. BTW, the man who murdered this journalist for reporting on his corrupt criminal behavior is a Democrat. Telles (D) murdered a member of the free press for investigating & reporting on his corruption...he murdered his political enemy (free press) just like the Saudis murdered Jamal Khashoggi. That's what happens when you have a corrupt politician, protected by a corrupt party, being exposed by journalists doing their job rather than being purveyors of propaganda.

Amanda Lay Hess Recent attacks against individuals wearing "Make America Great Again" hats have failed to make it to the national news media cycle, giving the impression that attacks from President Donald Trump's supporters are the only ones worth noting.

You don't have a right to harass Trump supporters

By Gil Smart

Days before a Martin County, Florida, bus aide allegedly ripped a "Make America Great" hat off a 14-year-old student, an 18-year-old student in Edmond, Oklahoma, was charged with assault and battery after he allegedly demanded a classmate remove a similar MAGA hat, then knocked the hat off the younger kid's head when he didn't comply.

10ºThere are an awful lot of forgotten little towns in this country and Braddock, Pennsylvania, is definitely one of them. It's only 11 miles outside Pittsburgh, but Braddock is basically empty at this point. Only 1,700 people live there — that's down from a population of more than 18,000 during the Second World War.

Braddock is now so underpopulated that you can buy a four-bedroom home there with a two-car garage right in the middle of town for $3,000. Don't believe it? Check it out yourself on Realtor.com. So, you know the story: For decades, the biggest employer in Braddock was manufacturing something called the Edgar Thomson Steelworks. In fact, Andrew Carnegie built it there along with his first stone public library, which still stands.

For generations, Braddock, Pennsylvania, was a real place and then inevitably the steel plant closed and the usual disasters arrived — unemployment, hopelessness, drugs. People left by the thousands, but one man saw an opportunity in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Not an opportunity for the town, but an opportunity for himself. That man's name was John Fetterman. Fetterman was 35 years old and had never in his life had a real job.

Fetterman is a joke
