A new study has a magic number (or three) of steps to use when out walking to cut your risk of dementia later in life.

A lot of studies show how processed our food is… but, the generation you typically see in communities right now grew up on growing their own gardens and farm life. War time when neighbors were helping neighbors survive with what they could produce at home. It will be interesting to see what happens in 50 years and the differences we see. Genetics, lifestyles, and overall health seem to be where most signs point. I recently started a Support Group in my community through the Alzheimer’s Association. It’s such a confusing, life altering disease.

By Democrats in the South, including Delaware, a slave state and Jim Crow state when Biden was growing up, and when he joined the Democrat party as a young man in the early 1960’s. (Why do they think he was a life guard in a “colored only” swimming pool he likes to brag about and racist comments slip out of his mouth, that they ignore). I get tired of the blaming and shaming by a party that did the deed. There’s no real “woke”if you do not feel sorrow and regret, and instead, push it onto others.

Eleni Andreou you need to go back to school and study statistics. It said walking will help people cut 50% of the risk. So if we assume the risk os, let's say, 20%, then we still have 10% chance. 10% of the population of billions are a lot to get dementia. But it saved the other 10%, which are also a lot compared to the size of the population. That is in terms of population of a society.
For an individual level, everyday we face the risks of something. Then instead of facing 20% chance of getting dementia if not walking, people who walk at least at those numbers of steps have half the chance of getting the symptom. Even 99% is not perfect, but the LIKELIHOOD of facing the harms is totally different.
Your health has risks. Your life has risks. Your work has risks. Your money has risks. Your car has risks. Your house has risks. Even your country, your state, your city have risks. But HOW LIKELY it is to get the harms from the risks are not the same.
Why you wear a seat belt? To reduce the risks during accident. Can it guarantee you will not get hurt or be killed by the accidents? Absolutely NO. But will you wear a seat belt? If yes, then walk to reduce the chances of getting dementia.
