1ºCasey Sawyer I don't live in Atlanta, I'm originally from another state. But, the struggle between what people want, what those with money and power want, and what the politicians will go along with is pretty much the same everywhere.

The difference between what is planned and what gets done often barely resembles each other in any meaningful way.

I once was in the room when a powerful politician in this other State was asked how they felt about a project's large cost overruns, schedule overruns, the loss of public land that was supposed to be untouched or at least repaired, (all paid with public funds). Their answer was, "in five years no one's gonna' care or remember. Next question."
