What you are really challenging is SHOULD they be rightfully considered the WORLD champions. My argument to you is YES! THE BEST baseball players in the WORLD come to the United States to play in the league known as Major League Baseball. A team from another league (inside or outside of the US) would not be able to beat them. If the MLS (soccer) called their champion the World Champions I would agree with your dispute of that. THE BEST soccer (football as you might call it) players in the world are not playing in the United States.
