Gary Stark we did a lock down drill on Tuesday. Have you had to practice to be silent in a dark room for 10 minutes with 20 plus students? I bet not.

I’m an educator. If I wanted to shoot people then I would’ve picked a different career. We do a lot all day that isn’t “just teaching” none of that is ever shoot someone.

Did you know we need folks to teach? There are shortages everywhere. So why don’t you go work on getting the degrees you need to teach. Get your CWP and find a district that is okay having teachers carry. There isn’t many of them.

But while you spend years getting an education you might learn a bit about what we do as educators and realize you aren’t qualified.

Liesl Sorrell I did grandma, try to back up what you say with proof and read my comments accurately.

“I always look at all news sources to get as much information I can, may it be false or true I’ll make my judgment in that.

My point being is that not the families asking for evidence, but the timing of CNN posting past Incidents for political gain.
Majority of people know CNN is full of crap anyways so it’s good to see how half of America are truly mentally challenged actually believing half the stuff CNN reports on.


Vicki Vaughan .. I think teacher are there to teach our kids... I also think that teachers are faster than cops ... Teachers are already there... Cops ain't... In a shooting situation seconds count... Any cops will tell you that... Seconds count... The time waiting for coward police is time teachers could use to save kids... Teachers are already there.. teachers would be first responders because they are already there...seconds count... The cops have to be called to the situation... The teachers are already there... So please answer the question...

would you rather have a teacher with a weapon for protection of our kids or would you rather wait for cops to show??
