Steven Myers You act like 10 years is a short time to turn a team around. The 1962 Mets lost 120 games. And won the World Series just 7 years later. The late 70s Mets were losing 95+ games every year for 7 years. (Not counting the strike shortened season of 1981 where they were on a pace to lose over 100. Just 2 years after that 7th straight 94+ loss season, they had a 98-64 record for the second best record in baseball. And a year after that, they dominated the league with 108 wins and a World Series. And would have had more if not for drugs. Meanwhile, the Marlins and Diamondbacks went from not existing to World Champions in less than half a decade.

All 4 major sports are filled with Worst to First and even Worst to dominant for years in less than a decade.

Kirsten Alonso Okay, "expert".

How about you Google Spider Tack.

Now, go look at the headshots of your favorite pitchers on your favorite teams.

Because there's a 99.99% chance that your favorite pitchers were either using Spider Tack, sunscreen lotion or some other foreign substance to doctor the baseball up to June of last season.

Applying foreign substances to a baseball has been illegal since the beginning of the 20th century.

Which means that your favorite teams cheated.

Don't believe me?

How about believing Lucas Giolito?

Hmmmm, who should we believe? Some embittered troll on social media? Or Lucas Giolito?

Wow, that's a tough choice.
