2ºSteven Stier it’s not. He deliberately got rid of the team that clears out abusive language. The use of the n word alone increased 500% the day he bought it, imagine the bots and bigots going unchecked now. Brands and advertisers are leaving because they don’t want their advertisements next to or commented on bigotry. Then the service says someone can pay to pretend they have a following which boosts what they say no matter how bad or misinformed it is. He’s just building another parlor that already has a giant platform. The problem is, few people wanted to be on parlor that’s why they’re failing, that’s why people are leaving twitter now.
3ºFake bot accounts are disappearing now. Thousands of Chinese shadow accounts that have been doing nothing but creating political division between Americans have been removed. I think the reason why people are unhappy is because they controlled one side of the narrative for the last few years. Employees whose only job were to cancel people for having opinions is coming to an end. There were too many verified fake accounts run by activist groups that were constantly trying to change people's perceptions of reality. Now one person cannot have 20 shadow accounts unless they're going to pay for them. It should weed out a lot of the bot accounts fake accounts and scammers.
4ºHow much is $8? Someone paid $44b and you expect him not to change strategies to recoup his investment, then I think it is you people that are greedy. Wanting free stuff doesn't make any common sense at all. I think the issue is not the $8 but you people just hate Elon.
So because of $8, you people are screaming as if the world is coming to an end. Trust me if you leave Twitter the company will grow without you.
For example, I opend my Twitter ac in 2013 and only used it for approximately 10 times. But since Elon announced his takeover then I will be happy to pay because I know that when services are being paid for, there will be accountability and value for money. And it will shock you felas millions of people will join Twitter. So many of you are hating Elon because he want to be richer, common stop the hate.

7ºTwitter is not goning offer me anything I want. Just like on this medium, I use my real name on Twitter so I don’t really need to be “verified.“ That’s pretty easy. Musk’s is claiming that it will eventually allow you to get “better ads.“ Well I’m sure the advertisers he’s already antagonizing love that idea. In addition what kind of an inducement is it to say that if I pay Musk $8 a month that he will actually mine my data a bit harder for advertisers?
Then of course there’s something about Elon Musk that just screams “don’t give this man your credit card.“ I’m interested in seeing what happens to Twitter. I’m not going to cancel my account right now but if it’s suddenly more difficult for me to operate on the platform because I’m not paying him, or the experience degrades in quality for me, I’ll drop it like a hot rock.
8ºHe built Tesla, an electric car company (with tons of suppression from the existing car industry), SpaceX, (space exploration to Mars), satellites that connect the world to each other, and Neurolink from scratch (which will benefit the entire populace of Earth) . And not to mention flamethrowers that are not to be labeled as flamethrowers (the perfect dad gift).
I can't imagine Elon not coming in with an exact game plan before even publicizing his interest in purchasing Twitter.
Doesn't seem like someone with all those accomplishments would do this for money. He could've retired a multimillionaire and lived a relaxing life after selling PayPal.

10ºDid not use it when it was free and before the dark, twisted thing bought it; why would I want to pay him to see all that crazy conspiracy crap. A few years ago; I would have insisted there were not enough fools to keep that company in business. Now; I’m not so sure there aren’t just enough crazy conspiracy craving nuts to ask to pay even more than the asking price. These are the same people who keep sending money to Trump.
