4ºJanet Russell I do understand your system - it is a fairly corrupt one in which virtually no one goes to trial due to plea deals and where the option is generally be charged with a charge that will put you in prison for decades or take a plea for a much lower charge that might not even mean prison - a no brainer, I always say that I wasn't alive when Lincoln was assassinated but if I were in America and arrested for it I would confess and take the plea as the chances of spending your life in prison for ever in the American system are just too great - in this case it is wrong to just overrule the plea which is what happened.
