1ºLynn Marie with due respect its not puzzling at all. Elections are about choices between one candidate and another. There is an old saying. Its better to dance with tbe devil you know than the one you don't. This election was not a referendum on Biden as much as it was on Trump. I realize we disagree politically and thats OK. But people are mostly informed enough to know what a President, and President can control and what they can't. I am not happy about the current inflationary conditions and the price of oil/gas. The only people that are, are the corporations that are nenefitting from the increased runaway profits and the wealthy investors who are reaping higher and higher dividends on their investments that few can afford to participate. I will remind you that Biden did not cause the world-wide covid pandemic. He did not cause the worldwide supply shortages. He did not cause the world traded price of oil to increase. Yes!, the track that the US is on is uncomfortable, but it was on the same track beginning in March of 2019 when Trump was President. (BTW it was not his "fault" either.) This election was about keeping election deniers out of office. This election was about protecting and restoring freedoms that we spent blood, sweat and tears gaining only to have the extreme wing of a certain party flex their religious hand. Well, they just got their hand swatted the exact way it is supposed to be swatted.
As for florida? You seem to have forgotton that not that long ago, they were poster child and battleground of incompetent elections. Please take of your conspiratorial red hat. Polls mean nothing. They provide no value to the voting public except to confuse and provide division. Come to the middle. Its la lot less polarized here.
2ºThat seems embarrassing, if not like a full-blown emergency. Counting the votes isn't some added extra you get from government if they have a surplus, like fighting climate change or bringing equity. Counting the votes is a core function of government, along with law enforcement, maintaining the roads and keeping the border secure. Efficient elections are the reason you pay taxes, but Arizona doesn't seem to have them. Why is that? Don't ask, commands CNN. If you've got questions about this or any other election, no unauthorized questions. Instead, watch CNN or if you don't have cable, simply trust your local officials.
