As somebody who voted for Obama and is not in anyway a supporter of Trump or Trumpism. One thing I believe is that it was wrong to remove all of the Civil War statues in the south. All that did was stir up intense anger. It created at almost a blind over to the top hatred toward anything left of right wing. I’m not saying that excuses that kind of thinking but removing those statues didn’t really accomplish anything in my opinion. Stand up against racism by lifting other people up and giving them opportunity and removing obstacles, not by punishing the great great grand children of those who Ended up on the wrong side of history. Trying to censor or delete history doesn’t change history.

U.S. — President Biden's congratulatory call to John Fetterman for his senate race win reportedly lasted in excess of three hours as neither man was able to form a coherent sentence.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain was forced to adjust Biden's schedule as the call dragged on. Meetings on the economy, foreign policy, and immigration were canceled entirely.

"They just sort of growled at each other after a while. It was very raw and animalistic, as you'd expect from great leaders," Klain said, advising Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on how best to spin the time-consuming call.

An official transcript of the call has been made available by the White House. A brief excerpt follows —

POTUS: Look, Jack, you great, boy. Not a joke.

Fetterman: Me John. Who Jack?

POTUS: You Jack, man. Come on, man!

Fetterman: [unintelligible chatter]

POTUS: No. I'm serious! Think about it.

Fetterman: Uh, new phone. Who this?

POTUS: Hello?

Fetterman: [heavy breathing]

POTUS: [heavy breathing]

At publishing time, White House aides deactivated President Biden's phone when he redialed Fetterman around 20 minutes after hanging up to ask the senator-elect if he would consider running for senate.
