Feed thousands of people with beef and grains and cotton they wear, contribute to society unlike some. 5ºJoey Lynch Part of the reason is there are not enough people to work the polls. If you want a hand count of the ballots, it takes time, tabulators are quicker and more accurate. Some states can't count AV ballots until the polls open on election day - takes time to verify them then tabulate. Either use a tabulator or hand count the ballots. Either count early votes early or only on election day. Either count and verify AV ballots before election day or election day. There is not a deliberate plot to delay the outcome of the final vote - it has been this way for years.
