1ºMark J Corbin IV they probably are, but it would be nice if the police officers responsible have liens against their homes, their paychecks get garnished there, 401(k)s and  their children’s college fund have to go to the families of the victims.  Just because somebody wins, the judgment doesn’t mean that they get all the money they’re entitled to sometimes it ends up with them, just having to put a lien against their home or their vehicle. Sometimes they cannot be awarded wage garnishments or even they will have to surrender the 401(k), or if they have an amount in excess of a certain amount after discovery affidavit is filed they may have to turn over there children’s college funds. There are ways to collect, but they wouldn’t be able to get all the money.
2ºIdris Chuupa Then, your kind loves to blame law-abiding gun owners and "assault rifles," when you hear of an individual such as this committing a crime such as that committed. Nevermind the fact that for every ONE about which you hear, there are 120,000,000+ about whom you didn't hear nor will you ever. Oh yeah, then the "assault rifles,".... Your kind loves to scream "ban assault rifles," in order to "save as many lives as possible, to save hundreds, thousands of lives even!,"....despite the fact that every year in the US as has been the case for decades on end, year in, year out, more people are murdered by the fists/feet of unarmed attackers than by someone using a rifle of any and all types of rifle(s), COMBINED for one, and two, the amount of people murdered by a rifle of any and all kind in any given year....But yes, tell us all about the NRA, law-abiding gun owners and "assault rifles," being at fault.
3ºIdris Chuupa But seriously, in all honesty, if you really, truly wish to pin the blame and find someone/an entire group of people that, if anyone other than the actual gunman should share the blame, well, then look no further than in the mirror my friend. It's by NO means a coincidence that ~97% of all mass shootings in the history of the US, as well as around 97% of those being committed as of late and likely into the future, too, have and continue to come in your beloved "gun-free zones,". If the blood of these innocent people is dripping from anyone else's fingers other than the actual shooter, then it is from YOUR fingers and those of the same ilk who's policies continue to facilitate the ease with which people are able to find a completely helpless group of people that have been disarmed in exchange for being allowed to enter a venue, and then who's complete and total helplessness is ADVERTISED to make it even worse.
