Thousands of Palestinians has been killed or injured in the past couple of months (and for the past 70 years) but not even one American channel reported anything! unless an Israeli jeep has a flat tire, in that case it will be all over the news!

3ºThe people who are laughing on here are an interesting read. There is a Navy serviceman. His pension is secure. Many of the others own businesses. They made a decision that their life path was to OWN a business. A couple of others work in the oil industry. Need I say more about this. They are laughing all the way to the bank. Those affected by pensions worked and made LESS money in their lifetime because pensions were part of our benefits when our contracts were negotiated. We took less to get pensions. We didn't go for the BIG money!! Now our pensions and social security are under attack by the people who support big business, lower taxes for those big businesses, and subsidies for everyone but the middle and lower class of people!!
4ºI am amazed at the lack of kindness and compassion in this thread!! I am a retired RN. The hospital that I worked in declared bankruptcy. Our pensions that we relied on were worth 1/3 less. The pension was sent to the PBGC. Which receives funds from the pension fund. It is like an insurance policy for pensions. We worked extremely hard our entire lives!! This "bail out" has saved many lives!! The gov't has subsidized farmers, airlines, the auto industry, the railroad industry, coal industry, but when it comes to taking care of OUR senior citizens or our students who are middle to low income people, you people are very cruel. I hope you never know the stress of planning for your retirement and the money is not there!!!
