1ºLuis Victoria well if it weren’t for democrats you wouldn’t have had slavery here in the states, and if it weren’t for republicans, we may still have slaves here today. There are many countries that still practice slavery. This country is doing just fine. I’m convinced there really only one source of racism left in this country and it comes from the left. The originators. The division the left perpetuates through special programs that are meant to help POC are there to convince them they need these programs in order to succeed. They don’t need them, and saying one race needs something like that is racist in itself. Democrats all the way.
2ºThis a political hot bed that Both parties, Republicans and Democrats have played with and pointed fingers at each other. You'd think they could come up with a plan together instead of blaming each other. That just continues to make this issue a Hot Football they both play against each other. I'm personally tired of all the blame and procrastinating on ether side. It's built up to mess we have now because Both parties have no good solution. A Wall wasn't a solution. Laws and regulations and change in immigration policies as to citizenship and being here illegally have to change. Congress needs to do the difficult hard stuff at this point. The World Sucks in some parts but we don't need any influx of people from other places.

Like everything in life, it all starts "at home," and I would think working to solve this problem MIGHT be remedied by TRYING to work with their governments they left behind. In the 1880's---thru mid 1900's people fled from countries in Europe to escape the tyranny and deaths of the innocents. Thank goodness, most of that has been resolved, except now, look at what murderer, Putin is doing to so many helpless souls. And, btw, what ever became of all the funds that were accumulated for the building of THE WALL???? That was such a big push to aid the Border Patrol when Trump was in office. Poof! All gone! But, where???
4ºPatrick Henry it is catastrophic over here!! I don’t necessarily only mean the thousands of people getting released into the streets of our city without any money or place to stay. Theirs no more room in EP it’s as simple as that! Not to mention the overworked and understaffed border patrol agency. Now they’re processing the people at regular border bridges which will just make the life for people/students crossing daily just more difficult with horrendous wait times etc…It saddens me that people (especially the Biden/Harris administration) living on the other side of this country claim there are more important things than the border and just don’t give a flying bologna about this disaster! On the other hand multiple local politicians pretend like there isn’t a problem meanwhile NY declared a state of emergency
5ºPatrick Phipps whats the matter are you afraid the People of the First Nations and Hawaii and Mexico are going to rise up and treat the People of the USA the way they was treated? .. o as far as how many would i let stay with me well i'll tell you what give me the same amt per person that the contractors running the detainment cent was being paid i would be happy to find space for 4-6 and for that kind of money i would make sure they had blankets --hot and cold water---mattress--personal hygiene kits ==soap-shampoo--toothbrushes and toothpaste and working showers and toilets along with lights and heat

By your logic wouldn't they be voting Republican? so shouldn't Oregon with all of its dumbed down voters be voting Republican? Since it is still a blue state it clearly shows that even uneducated will vote Democrat. Also if the majority of Americans are illiterate that can't even Read at a 6 grade reading level by your logic wouldn't they all be voting Republican which would leave republicans with the majority? Are you capable of critical thinking or do you just speak and make claims?
7ºTom Miros I can see where it is but once again are those numbers inflated because they have pushed through graduate by removing the graduation requirements? Does removing the graduation requirements actually make for smarter people Or does it give just inflated numbers? These Are all variables you know. If it works off the graduation numbers and not what people actually know then if studies were done on what actually is known it would show something very different especially while some States are not requiring reading, math or writing to be able to graduate while others are. Do you really think that they push out smarter students from those schools That remove graduation requirements?
