1ºThe real story is he was worked to death by his employer who doubtless had him doing the work once relegated to five employees like everyone in the press these days. He was sick and suffering and in all likelihood he is alive today if he had gone to the doctor and been properly checked out. But he knew if he did that during the World Cup he would be replaced and his career would take a hit, so he soldiered on until he died. Think any of the corporate owned media outlets will talk about this, of course not because they are all doing the same to their employees right now.
2ºBryan Jones highly publicized but is it based on any facts? Qatar has started to improve living and working conditions for the migrants in the past few years. Many of which make more money in Qatar than they do in their home country. Not to mention healthcare is practically free for them. Something which the US still doesn’t provide for anyone. And let me know when people in the US no longer employee undocumented migrants to pick their fruits and veggies. Even they prefer to work for pennies than stay in their country. and I’m sure their living conditions aren’t the greatest either.

4ºR.i.p grant, his journalism was ahead of the curve, he is definitely an ambassador for the sport and a lot of the reason soccer has grown in the united states. His coverage over the last 15 years was defitenly the reason the sport has taken off.
However I find his death extremely questionable and odd timing, I believe something more is going on here I truly hope some tenacious investigator is able to get to the bottom of his death and provide answers for his family and all of us who also took an interest in Wahl. When the news about his death first broke, it brought me to tears because I was literally following his tweet on the Argentina -Netherlands game. Ugh, this one has me gutted. Rest in peace
5ºThe very likely cause of this was undiagnosed Marfan Syndrome. We lost two of our children in the exact same manner and nearly lost my wife. Her Aorta balooned in her lower thoracic and upper abdomen AND at the root, (top of the heart). She had two surgeries, ten years apart to repair both aneurysms. Our youngest was sudden and unexpected and, while we knew it could happen, the oldest was still sudden and rather unexpected. Marfan runs in our family and while we know as much about the disease as we can learn, there is still SO MUCH about this disease that even the doctors are still finding out. It manifests, if at all, in many ways that don't seem connected and sudden death is just one of the possible ends that a person with this disease faces. For more info, do a search for the term. If anyone you know exhibits any of the tells and/or symptoms, do them and yourself a favor and have them get checked out. It could save their life.
6ºDebra Adkins read the science. But even if you don’t, just look around. Everyone you know that has Covid for the past year is vaccinated. Young healthy people are dying in droves. And the most terrifying is that this experiment is accelerating illness at warp speed. Everyone you know that has an illness that’s in remission will be sick again soon if they already aren’t. People are feeling fine one week and go to the doctor the next week and get diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Open your eyes and look. The government won’t be there for you when it hits home.

While the brother is wrong for his assumption it is not necessarily an indictment of Qatar, rather his brother's uninformed, emotional opinion. The man's wife is an MD & she did not state this & I imagine she knew her husband more so than the brother. This Peter character is out of place because he's not in Qatar or from Qatar, he is just inciting issues. 10ºWhen I fitst heard of his death and that he had been given antibiotics and a diagnostic lf pneumonia it reminded the months it took an the visits to emergency I had before one doctor and a different hospital diagnozed angina and that I had a major artery blocked st 90% that had caused an infarctus 7 years earlier at 48. However as both my pqrents died from heart problems I have been quite tuned to what my body tells me, in a few days I will be 72. Thus I wqs convinced his passing lut was heart had to do with a heart attack of one sort or another.
