However, in general: the reason for continuing with research and development is to stay in the race against COVID. Because the vaccines are a good protection against the older strains and at least some protection against new variants. COVID is serious and causes damage to organs including the heart and brain. This is known. So going at COVID alone, without the protection of vaccines, is playing Russian Roulette

AND the research around the basis for the vaccines WAS a decade long.
And the vaccines were produced through trials.
AND it's been two years even past when those were completed and billions of people later.

7ºFunny this appears today, literally the day after the EUs health and science authority said a LONG TERM study on "long covid" appears to identical to those who also had the Flu and other respiratory infections with the same lingering claimed symptoms. They even went on to say this means "long COVID" is not original, not more dangerous than any lingering infection and cannot be used as a way to claim a disability... funny how Europe has also stopped vaccination on the healthy, the young and Switzerland banned boosters for anyone under 55... Probably the same amount of people who usually die from the regular yearly flu. However, they have circuitously linked many people to this engineered crises that shouldn’t have been tied to it in the first place. All for financial and political reasons. Remember hospitals were receiving huge monetary incentive to link any unlikely related death to this. This is an engineered crises and it is being promoted for a reason. Real pandemics don’t have a 99% survival rate. Real pandemics don’t require silencing one side of the argument and censoring healthcare workers or keeping hundreds of qualified doctors from speaking out against a mainstream narrative, allowing only one point of view to flourish. But psychological warfare, social conditioning, propaganda campaigns and agendas do however.
