William, I don't live in Colorado. Your statements, "Colorado like a few of the western states are pushing to legalize more and more drugs in large part to their anti police and law enforcement stance" and "it's a slippery slope they are going. And yes, Marijuana is a gateway drug" and "traffic fatalities where the drug is part of the DUI case is sharply up since Colorado legalized it" are your PERSONAL OPINIONS, not facts.
Since cannabis was made legal in Colorado it has been estimated that collision claims in Colorado have increased a mere 2.6 percent, but there is no evidence that tiny increase is caused by cannabis impaired drivers.

Clark Richards how long have yiu been getting stoned?

"While the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has worked to eliminate marijuana-impaired driving since recreational legalization in 2014, Colorado has continued to see cannabis-involved traffic crashes and fatalities. In 2018, 13.5 percent of drivers involved in fatal crashes tested positive for cannabis."

13% is huge. I ask you before how many people what yiu call a tiny amount represents. You refused to answer. BTW...the above quoted stiludy was from CDOT. You can find it if your not afraid to recognize the lives lost, crippled and shattered as a result of making these drugs legal.
