House adjourns without a speaker as McCarthy fails to lock down votes | CNN Politics

After Republicans failed three times to unite behind a House speaker candidate, lawmakers decide to adjourn until Wednesday. The last time an election for speaker went to multiple ballots was in 1923.

1ºJeff Swartz well I disagree with at. Trumps absolute failure at handling the beginning of the pandemic is a huge factor. His failure with border control, tax breaks for the rich, and quite a few other things along with the fact he tried to overthrow the government and absolutely did not give the Biden administration the smooth transition every new president deserves. The Biden administration had one of the biggest show messes to clean up after trump. President Biden has done a great job under incredible pressure and the obstruction by republicans. He has passed some really great legislation for all Americans. So much so even republicans that didn’t vote for these bills are trying to take credit for them. But yeah, please do go on.
