That IS an argument about guns in and of itself. It's an argument that says you don't value lives taken by them. You only value the biology classified as human—except not women, they're incubators.
If you didn't want to make an argument about guns, you should have told the person who pointed them out that you didn't, rather than make it.
"Human life" is in the hair cut from your head by a barber. It's in the severed arm, removed tonsils, even pulled teeth of every actual human that walks the planet. Zygotes and embryos are potential. They can become A human who is alive, but just like the tooth you had pulled, that potential doesn't trump your right to live without the toothache.
When people come on here waxing poetic about how every abortion ends human life, they don't for one minute believe that their body should be controlled by the state for the sake of potential human biology. Next time just live with the toothache, or for as long as you can with the gangrenous limb if your argument is that women should have no right to take a pill the moment after conception occurs.
