1ºBob Grosvenor I think you know as well as anyone that unless they go to flag football this type of thing and head injuries are possible and players know this going into it. They can do all they want with equipment to try to help but this risk is always going to be there. This particular incident has happened only one other time in over 100 years of the league. As a ex-college player and fan, you know there isn’t much to do unless you change all the rules, which I don’t think you actually would want. We’ll have to chat at our next Ye Olde visit because I’d like to hear your thoughts.

So if I hit you in the chest with a bat you wouldn't grab your chest in pain after the blow? If I hit your hand with a hammer you wouldn't grab your hand in pain after the blow. Thats blunt force trauma. Pain is immediate when a blow occurs. Regardless if it affects the heart. A person is still going to grab the effected area. Its science
