Willow Isabella, people are asking questions and speaking out about it because it doesn’t make sense. I’ve lived in a college campus party house, but I never encountered a man in all black and wearing a mask lurking in my home at 4am. Never. You’re failing to mention that the affidavit says the girl was “terrified”. People can’t understand why she never once called the police. If you’re terrified, you call the police. She called her friend almost 8 hours later. Not the police. She heard her friend crying and still locked the door and never called police for help.

I don't understand why the roommate saw a masked intruder and then went to bed and did not call 911. I understand hiding if she were scared, but she locked her room door and went to sleep. Then many hours later, still no one called 911. They called friends to come over because they thought friend was passed out. This was a brutal crime, so did they not see blood? I am confused. I realize news articles may get details wrong, but the released document from police, obtained by media, talks about what was said in interview with roommates. Now that the judge put a gag order on all authorities, we will all just have to wait for further information in the trial. At this point, the news articles will just be opinions.

He did a college internship at a prison asking them what it was like to kill their victims. I'm sure he just got a high out of it. As Nancy grace said in her podcast(who I love listening to) it was like handing him po$n on a silver player. I doubt these people are his only victims. Wouldn't be shocked if he ended up admitting to more. From watching all the true crime that I've watched sometimes they also just love the attention so they enjoy telling their story. Look at Bundy. He confessed to 30 but, most likely there are more. He has the same background as this guy and he loved talking about the killings. For him it was like describing a wonderful vacation or something.

Melissa Martin , it makes zero sense. Period. Those who keep making excuses for her actions are delusional. We can’t forget she was a victim as well, but to try and rationalize her actions, is pitiful. I feel horribly for her. She will think of that night for the rest of her life. I have no doubts she regrets how she handled things that night, but we must stop with the “what ifs”. “What if she was drunk?” “What if she was in shock?”, “what if she has a severe learning disability and she didn’t know how to use a phone?”, “what if etc, etc etc”.

We must go with what the facts given (up till now on that night) and those are all in the affidavit.

Honey Elam Ramirez I have been asking myself the same question since all the information came out and I just don't understand. She said she heard a man's voice say "he was going to make everything ok" and when she opened her door he literally walked right past her wearing a mask where she could only see his bushy eyebrows and out the side door of the house. She said she stood there frozen then locked herself in her room.. ummm ok?? This is official affidavits of the events that happened.. but yet waited 8 hours to call 911 and even then she said in the call she was reporting an unconscious person.. police said it was a bloody massacre. So something don't add up. I can understand being scared and locking yourself in your room but call 911!!! Yes they were drinking partying etc.. but still.. I've been there in my younger days and I still wouldn't have ignored what was going on around me especially if these were my friends! I just don't understand why 911 was not called sooner or no-one checked to see if everyone was alright..

Kristopher Kirby I mean honestly what motive do you need?? Most if not all serial killers just like the sense that they are in control. Whether they know the person or not that's kinda the whole point. Having full control over their victims. As sick and twisted as it is if you look at Bundy, btk, Dahmer, gracy. It's all about control. I read a book once book of serial killers( I love true crime shows podcasts) anyways, they all seem to want control, have some sort of difficult up bringing weather being abused, neglected. Bundy is interesting as well because he killed all these ladies but, had one at home and helped raise her child. Went to soccer games and never laid a hand on her.

Theresa Norwark , that is never mentioned. I have a hard time giving a million “what ifs”. She may have severe learning disabilities? She may have not liked her roommate enough to call for help? She could have been so high on meth or acid…. You see why it’s wrong to give a million what-ifs…. Right?

I’m going to go off the info given in the affidavit and that is she got up and opened the door three separate times due to concerning noises. She came face to face with a man dressed in all black and wearing a black mask. She was terrified and she locked the door and never called the police.

it was a common party house, it's likely he attended a party there at some point. He went in thru the sliding glass door on the second level (it's on a hill), went to the 3rd floor, killed two that were in bed together. Likely ran into the 3rd as she was awake and got a door dash delivery, she ran to get her boyfriend. He killed them both. Most likely didn't see the roommate if it was dark, the way her room is in the house, he could have walked right by it and not thought it was a bedroom.
