1ºChris Jesus Christ. This is for everyone who ever in the military has a child. Adopted, fostering, natural birth. All of the ways a child comes into the family. You do know that there are some families that adopt their siblings children because they died right? That's a tragic event that occurs. There's a million and one reasons for a family to get a child. Just because that person is in our military doesn't mean they should not get the leave that allow them to bond with the child.
You want to come at me with some nonsense about being selfish? Did you serve? Did you put your life on the line? Did you enlist or get drafted? Or are you just coasting on the fact that your father did? You also keep saying "orphan." Orphan means both parents are dead. Seriously, look up the definition. Not only that, in this day and age every child born has the potential to be an orphan. Car accidents, gun violence, disease. If we stopped having children because one or both parents might die before the child reached 18 then we would stop having children. Do you think no cops should have children? What about the most dangerous jobs in the US like roofers and fishermen and loggers and garbage men. Should they not be allowed to have children?

You don't join the military for peaches and cream. You shouldn't join if you can't cut it.
The military is an offensive war piece and defensive posture center. It is not supposed to be sunshine and rainbows. It is supposed to be full of reliable dependable people who can do the job that the vast majority of the world does not want to.
It should not be a social experiment it needs to be a strong cohesive fighting force and nothing else

So first of all you should thank the spouses of active duty members for their service as well, because they have a heavy burden and do a lot for our military members and are often overlooked for how much work they do while they are deployed and when they have come home, been discharged, and are now navigating the complexities of the civilian world and the mess that is things like the VA. Not only that, the idea that a couple adopting a baby wouldn't be an orphan if they have two parents. You're kinda bad at math.
If you want to know who qualifies for it you should go to a recruiting station and sign up and find out.

How much I suffered from the hindering against the reality of skirmishes of the planet of chastisement, so they hindered from ratifying the skirmishes of Allah’s universal war with the planet of chastisement, so they disbelieved in the effect of its approach on the sun and the earth because of the lie that the rise of climate disasters is because of the global warming from fossil drilling of carbon dioxide, and I suffered because of this hypothesis and theory since the beginning of my call of the Mahdiship since the year 2005 AD while I deny that theory and refute the argument of the carbon theory with truth from Allah’s Book the grand Quran and I shatter it utterly with the decisive verses of the Book in the grand Quran, so the Muslims refused but to be ungrateful and said: “Are you more knowledgeable or the American agency NASA, and all climate scientists in the worlds endorsing the carbon theory of the greenhouse gasses, while you alone - O Nasser Mohammad Al-Yemeni, have another theory as you claim that it is the planet Saqar?!” Indeed, I seek refuge in Allah from the theories of saying conjecture which does not avail a thing against the truth, as if I am addressing the Arabs with a non-Arab tongue and not a clear Arabic tongue. Did I bring to
you the clear proof from the book of the secular (Michael Aflaq)?! Or did we teach you with the clear proof from the decisive grand Quran with a clear decisive verse for all Arab scholars and their people altogether, in fact a clear proof for every possessor of a clear Arabic tongue about the inevitable passage of planet Saqar in the sky of the earth of humans before the day of resurrection with your reckoning.
