Trump accused in lawsuit of causing wrongful death of Officer Brian Sicknick in US Capitol attack

The lawsuit notes that Trump instructed his supporters in Washington on January 6 to “fight like hell” and “show strength” in his speech before the Capitol riot.

Alex Subotich yes he invited them, everyone knew so because it was a rally like ones that happen at the capital all the time. In fact there are so many they schedule them right after each other. So I fail to see how that has any relevance to anything ohh that's right Trump. Charge whoever you what, but there was a supreme court case about this and even if Trump said and ment every word that you think he did, he would have had to basically would have to say we are going to break into the Capital and lead them down there. There is no law against getting a large group of people excited.

DeLana Lock also I'm sure this is going to be tough for you to understand considering how interactions have gone with Democrats in the past, but hey I could be wrong, I'm hardly a Republican if anything I'm a libertarian, and I'm certainly not a Trump guy he was just by far the better option Vs Biden. I just call out the lies when I see them, the fact is that nothing he said at all falls under the legal definition of incitement and unless they found some evidence that Trump met with them before hand and made a place to break into the Capital it was an insurrection.

That's not the same thing as ordering a pipe bomb planted, that he had absolutely nothing to do with, in some states he might be charged with inciting a riot, other states not, at this point I think he's defeated in any primary. I think the planting of the pipe bomb is separate from QAnon Shaman, and I do think had that gone off, in an event the Vice President Elect is killed, or maimed, or just misses it, that would have triggered the 25th Amendment and they would have removed Trump, but that is the kind of thing that leads to national emergency, in other words there are persons in common with those who advise Trump to make his moves, and then also with those who stir the capitol riot, and those that then order the pipe bomb, I just don't think he ordered the conspiracy, even anything he is set up to be fall guy for that but that there is something that interlocks all three, someone who wanted a state of emergency which was the most dangerous thing he ever legitimized, but he simply isn't the main one ordering it, but if you assume all three parts, someone does correlate all three, but he's not going to order a pipe bomb, he's just not going to pay for an actual terrorist act, but among those who advised him, that's where you begin looking at the interlock, I believe the Governor of Florida made the call I'd make not to send the National Guard to the capitol, thats really not the purpose of a state defense force that in many ways functions as part of the state militia, but I think there are going to be people who knew of the planned capitol riot, and this was not FBI staged, they had informants, surely, but that pipe bomb. small group would have known about that

Jeff Saint I fail to understand this logic, please help me to figure this. Most gun owners will say that armed or unarmed, if an assailant enters their property without the property owner's permission, they should be prepared to be met with deadly force. What makes that typical logic different in the case of Ashly Babbit? She was where she wasn't supposed to be. Should she have been given a pass because she was upset about an election? Because I'll tell you what, someone comes into my house, without my permission, upset about an election and we aren't going to have time to talk about it.

David Pressel They absolutely should have. The point you are missing is their mistakes do not absolve Donald Trump of HIS actions which were unconstitutional. HE broke the law when he called Pence and asked him to not count electoral votes. He was told by EVERY one of his lawyers that it was illegal for Pence to do that. Yet he still continued to lie the American people and tell them that Pence could stop the vote. NO ONE did that but him. At some point you have to stop blaming everyone else and put the blame where it is due.

Cindy Brock Altmann really? Post the video you can't because that's a lie just like the rest of the crap that's been beat in yalls heads. See how that works. You take that as fact because you heard it from someone who heard it. No facts. I can get on Google and post links all day long about Trump that none of witch is true. But I'm waiting to see your video. You say I wouldn't believe a video if I see it. Yet you believe all the lies you hear. I'd believe what I see not what some person that's trying to brainwash me says

Alex Subotich so what would absolve him, I mean it was a legal rally they had the permits to be there, the mess started before it was over, so yea saying go peacefully and support your congress people has more weight than a commonly used expression. On the other hand you blame Trump for it all because he said fight like hell once, which as I just stated is a commonly used expression but to you that means he planned the whole thing. Yes when they had to move trump into a bunker, which you made fun of him for, when the white house guard house was burned down that's when. You Democrats claim to know everything but then don't even know anything

That's just one of many articles, and let's not forget a planned assassination attempt again a sitting supreme court judge. Oh but the left cares about democracy.

Ben Murray ......Actually, as it says in this Article, which you should have read.
The Medical Examiner, Dr Diaz testified and was quoted repeatedly as saying,
EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TO MR. SICKNICK ON JAN. 6TH, PLAYED A ROLE IN HIS CONDITION.

You see if you rob a bank and the teller is hospitalized and later dies after you tied her up, you murdered her.
What happens when you commit a crime, is you are responsible for everything that occurs because of that crime.
Every Officer hurt, every window broken, every piece of furniture scarred, every antique damaged ........... even the Bill for the National Guard.

The Bills should be his as well. They did exactly what he wanted them too, the only one that didn't, was Pence.

Kieth Larick as for his CoD… I’d ask his oncologist… he died of natural causes (cancer) at 71.

Also, spending 2 months encouraging your most ardent supporters to swarm DC, insisting that the election was stolen, using increasingly more inflammatory rhetoric as the date drew near… and then literally giving them their marching orders during the speech and putting a target on your VPs back during and after the speech???? I’d say that’s incitement - without Trump, nothing would have occurred that day. Heck, even if he would have just dialed it back during the speech, or instead of gleefully watching “his people” do his bidding whilst eating lunch and watching TV perhaps he should have tweeted something helpful to diffuse the situation, then only the real whack jobs would have continued.

10ºHow grand is this, that police officers who have gone through rigorous training, INCLUDING TRAINING FOR CROWD CONTROL IN RIOT GEAR!

They train with weapons, shields, and all manner of both defensive and offensive tactics, in preparation for violent conflicts!

A bunch of marshmallows whining and crying because somebody called them names or attacked them and got their uniforms dirty!

Maybe look at officers who not only allowed people to pass barricades but helped remove them and waved people in, even inside giving them directions or taking them to other areas.

A take of two events, the media one with secret agitation, paid videographers, conflicts between cops and protestors, and another one where people just walked around calmly but their videos didn’t make it to the J6 TV show!
