The current events in Muricanland proves that the extremist faction in the Republican party had become so stuck in their beliefs - both political and religious - that their determination to stick to it had become absolute. To the extent that they are even willing to destroy their own party's unity, while knowing that it hugely favors the Democrats and an election win for the latter in 2024.
Such uncompromising behavior is always seen before a civil war, just like as was the case shortly before the American Civil War.
It is worth noting that the USA at present has more than 200 active extremist groups - both white and black - with thousands of members each, according to the FBI and an organisation monitoring extremists. Whites are preparing for war against blacks, and blacks are preparing for war against whites, with both sides not even really pretending anymore that their training is to defend themselves only. These groups are all participating in shooting exercises on a daily basis, often with former soldiers as members.
Civil unrest in the USA presents a danger to the whole free world.
