The Supreme Court agreed to take up the case of a former US Postal Service worker who wants the justices to revisit a decades-old test for determining whether employers can deny religious accommodation requests.

D. Lee Beard Some religious organizations are exempt from taxes. As a result, everybody else is required to share the religious organization's obligation! So the burden of doing what we are required to do , becomes much greater. Being raised a Christian, the Good Book only requires two things to see Heaven,,, pay taxes and love your neighbor! Apparently, the religious organizations can't even muster the courage to even do the two least difficult responsibilities! If the job requires him to work on Sunday, he didn't have to accept the job. Sounds like his religion is the oppressor. Seems the hypocrisy is with his religion. Does his religious organization require their employees to work on Sundays?

Not just that but lets talk about the temp to hire positions the post office created so that they dont have to pay benefits. After 364 days of service your required to take a 5 day break when a CCA or RCA which is the entry positions for Carriers, since you didn't work a whole year they can deny you benefits like 401k an retirement. Ive heard so many stories of people working these positions for years before they decide to make you what they call a regular which is a full time position even tho both RCA an CCA have to report every Sunday and who whenever you're off if they call you. But get nothing in return other than some healthcare paid for.
