2ºOne of the signatories of the now-discredited open letter attempting to discredit the findings from the Hunter Biden laptop made a stunning admission more than two years after it surfaced in the public eye.
Douglas Wise, a former Defense Intelligence Agency deputy director and former senior CIA operations officer, was among the over 50 former intel officials who claimed that the content of the laptop first reported by the New York Post in October 2020 "has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."
But in an interview with The Australian published Sunday, Wise now admits most of what was found in the reported emails had to be based in reality.
3ºChris Wronga the real issue is whether or not Biden attempted to obstruct the return of the documents.
Even if classification were an actual issue here (and the DOJ has made it absolutely clear that even if the documents Trump was illegally attempting to retain were not classified, it doesn't change anything from a legal standpoint), you're forgetting two things.
1-Obama could have mentally declassified the documents and not told anyone before he left office.
2-and this is a bigger one, you're forgetting that the VP has ALL the powers of the president when acting in that capacity, which means Biden could have mentally declassified the documents and not even told Obama.
You need to brace yourself for how angry you're going to be when Trump is indicted for obstruction and Biden isn't (because Biden didn't do that). But you won't. Just like how you've spent decades yapping about Killery, and years lying about election fraud, you'll spend the rest of your life refusing to accept the existence of very simple, very easily understood differences.

June 3, 2021: Trump's attorney and custodian of records are present and turn over one large envelope, "double-wrapped in tape," that contains documents. Trump's lawyer says all records brought from the White House to Mar-a-Lago are stored in a single location, a storage room on the premises, and that there are no other records stored in private office space or other locations on the property. Aug. 5, 2022: The department says that prior to seeking the warrant, the FBI "uncovered multiple sources of evidence" indicating classified documents were still at Mar-a-Lago, despite the sworn certification made June 3. Aug. 8, 2022: The Justice Department executes the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago.
