The board should have been left in place because whatever they are doing, it's finally working, after years of poor scores. Installing a new board means they have to start over again in solving the problems and will probably go backward before they go forward. This is a power grab on behalf of the state, in its quest to eliminate public education. Meanwhile, they get to teach whatever they choose to.
