4ºIt’s hard for me to imagine because two years ago I ended up in the ER with sudden, very severe back and groin pain.  The doctor told me that the pain was from scoliosis and arthritis in the hip and that the groin pain was actually radiating pain from the hip, it wasn’t true groin pain.  then another doctor who never saw me for more than three minutes in his life came into the room and wanted to prescribe opioids for me.  I refused them, as long as I know that the pain was coming from something non-life-threatening, I would just take over-the-counter pain relievers, and use Biofreeze to get me through it.  I have enough problems without the doctors turning me into a drug addict.
