One told me, speaking about adoption, when you wear a black suit, you want black shoes to match and black and brown children can be raised in an orphanage until 18 and then they can make a life for themselves like everyone else. He was our friend. We are parents to a biracial son through adoption. Our friend claimed there are not enough white babies to adopt. Now try to convince me I'm being extreme. Go on, I'll wait.

3ºChris Andersen That's what happened in red states like Kansas and Arizona. Republican women crossed party lines and voted in split tickets to tell Republicans to stick their anti-abortion measures where the sun don't shine but Republicans want to blame their losses on conspiracies. They're tone deaf and it's like they don't have any idea how much it costs to raise a child. It's only gotten more expensive over the last three decades. It's the ultimate business decision for any woman and her family. Having a child (which entails food, diapers, clothes, healthcare, childcare, etc) is like inflation x 1000, especially for a special needs child.
I'm not sure why the Republican party thinks women want to be forced into that decision. There's a reason young women (young people in general) are registering as Democrats in HUGE numbers. They're not going to let their generation of the next 30-40 years be dictated by a bunch of old politicians with one foot in the grave
