In the wake of the communal clashes which broke out during the recent Ramnavami and Hanuman Jayanti processions ,would like to draw your attention to the similar incident ( trend) occurred in UP in 2018

A young man was killed in the violence that erupted during a ‘Tiranga yatra’ organised by right-wing groups in January 2018 in Kasganj,UP

The then Bareilly DM , Vikram Singh wrote in a Facebook post

In the Facebook post on 28 January, he wrote: “Ajab rivaz ban gaya hai. Muslim mohallo me jabrdasti julus le jao aur Pakistan murdabad ke nare lagao. Kyon bhai, ve Pakistani hain kya? Yehi yahan Bareilly mein Khelam mein hua tha. Fir patharav hua, mukadme likhe gaye (It has become a trend these days for people to barge into Muslim-dominated areas and then raise anti-Pakistan slogans. Why? Are they Pakistanis? A similar incident happened in Khelam village of Bareilly. There was stone-pelting and then FIRs were lodged) "

So, these processions and rallies are well planned?

Despite the threat to law and order situation and despite the prevailing
hate inciting atmosphere , these religious processions and rallies are given permissions is something to ponder

Needless to say the said DM was pulled up by the state administration

The point I am trying to make here is ,

this trend ( of barging into Muslim majority area , provoking by shouting anti Muslim slogans and making a ground to attack Muslims as pre planned ) during Yatras has started long back.
