A woman, or man dies at age 65 before collecting one benefit check. She/He and her employer paid into the system for almost 50 years and she collected NOTHING
Keep in mind all the working people that die every year who were paying into the system and got nothing.
And these governmental morons mismanaged the money and stole from the system, so that it's now going broke.

And they have the audacity to call today's seniors "vultures" in an attempt to cover their ineptitude.

The real reason for renaming our Social Security payments is so the government can claim that all those social security recipients are receiving entitlements thus putting them in the same category as welfare, and food stamp recipients.

The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment."
This is NOT a benefit.
It is OUR money, paid out of our earned income!
Not only did we all contribute to Social Security, but our employers did too! It totaled 15% of our income before taxes. (This should be enough for you to forward this message, if not read on.)
If you averaged $30K per year over your working life, that's close to $180,000 invested in Social Security.
If you calculate the future value of your monthly investment in social security ($375/month, including both you and your employers’ contributions) at a meager 1% interest rate compounded monthly, after 40 years of working you'd have more than $1.3+ million dollars saved .
This is your personal investment. Upon retirement, if you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $39,318 per year, or $3,277 per month .
That's almost three times more than today's average Social Security benefit of $1,230 per month, according to the Social Security Administration. (Google it – it's a fact).
And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you're 98 if you retire at age 65)!
I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts.
Instead, the folks in Washington pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madoff ever did (or Lyndon Johnson).
They took our money and used it elsewhere. They "forgot"(oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking.
They did not have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them...and they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed.
And recently they have told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. (Isn't it funny that they NEVER say this about welfare payments ?)
But is it our fault they misused our investments? And now, to add insult to injury, they are calling it a benefit, as if we never worked to earn every penny of it
This is stealing !
Just because they borrowed the money, does not mean that our investments were for charity!
Let's take a stand.
We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.
Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of the 92% of our population who need it.
Then call it what it is:
Our Earned Retirement Income .

Promising “change” but changing nothing. Spending $Billions$ to get a job that pays $450,000/yr. Makes no sense right? Money is power and power has never followed the law. 3ºMy name is Victoria. I have contacted you all before about the situation with my children. I have been (for years) trying to get someone to listen and hear my story about the abuse that has been going on with my 3 children that has been placed in guardianship with caretakers (Pastors) Diantha Hall Crapps/Jackson and BJ Jackson since 2016. Since my children were removed from my care they have been abused physically, mentally, and sexually by these people that DCF, PFSF, Gainesville Police Department and the Courts entrusted in to take care of my children. My daughter reached out to me again concerning the abuse that has been going on in that house where my children were placed. Again and again, I am tired of hearing that my children are having to endure this kind of treatment and abuse from someone who claims to be a Pastor and a member of the Gainesville community and her Husband who has been inappropriately touching and making advances towards my children for years. DCF has been contacted numerous times about this abuse ever since 2016 my kids have been abused and nothing has been done about it. I have reached out above DCF including the White House and US Senate. If something happens to my children, you know what never mind, nothing will happen because if no action is taken or my children are not removed I will go get my children myself. I'd rather my children be safe away from that evil place than to sit around and wait for nobody to do anything. This abuse has been going on for years and DCF has not taken any action to keep my children safe and protected. My daughter ran away from the caregiver's house on 3/29/23 because she said she cannot take any more of the abuse and mistreatment that has been going on in that house. I have reached out to DCF Tallahassee, Washington DC, the US Senate, The Governor of Florida, and all other entities that have authority over DCF. Nothing has been done and my children are continuously being tormented and abused by this caregiver. This is a life and death situation. Please help.

Isn’t it an act of inciting to commit hate crimes? Trump clearly identified his “enemies”! And the GOP is not banning trump! Well, now we have it: he was indicted!!

6ºDemocrats have weaponized the judicial system. The law is not applied equally. Where are the charges against the Biden crime syndicate? Where are the charges for the Russia hoax? Where are the charges for Democrats lying to Congress on IRS issues?

But to think, for example you could get guilt beyond a reasonable doubt for something that is protected by the first amendment such as the argument about January 6 is absurd and even if the unlikely thing happened it would immediately trigger an appeal
It also should be noted if guilt beyond a reasonable doubt is not reached Trump goes free and then he can never be tried for the same crime again 
Remember the constitution says there’s only three criterion for becoming president and an indictment or a conviction is not anything that preclude anyone from becoming president
8ºPete Cato don’t you think that as much as the media and Democrats hate Trump, that if they actually had anything on him other than the payment to Daniels the charges would be all over the headlines like when they lied about the Russian collusion? Of course they’d already have been leaked and would be everywhere. They have nothing…or it’d be just like the “Russian collusion” story and would be everywhere all the time the best they have is a payment to Daniels
Meanwhile, they have physical banking transactions between the Biden’s and China. The Biden’s literally received over a million dollars from China. Wonder what they were selling China-Hunter’s art?
9ºStephanie Bebermeyer Lee wow! You don't even know me, but your response is typical. My point was, these were not campaign contributuons or taxpayer funds. Per a CBS article timeline, the funds were from his company, not election contributions. Cohen and Daniels are proven liars already in this case. Trump may be lying, too. My issue is that rich people, businesses and government organizations make these types of payments all the time for various reasons. I was an HR Manager for a government organization for many years and saw these tyoes of payments many times. It doesn't make it right, but it is not illegal. This is a very slippery slope on charging political candidates for political gain. Continuing to pray for our country.

That’s the nice thing when the Government is the other side, because his standard MO tactics of deny, deflect, and distract, as well as using every foot-dragging technique every step along the way, will not deter the Government, which - unlike civil litigation plaintiffs who have gone after him and ended up in a fortune-eliminating war of attrition - has all the time and money in the world. His day will come. Or, he’ll run away to his Daddy Vladdy, or he’ll eat one cheeseburger too many and his evil heart will finally give out.
