Diallo Fon the fact that black people commit more crimes is absolutely subjective. Black people outside urban neighborhoods are actually statistically less likely to commit crimes then white people. (Check the stats)
Also, poor white people are actually more likely to commit crimes then poor black people. (Also verified by statistics)

Also, we can talk all day about the institutional racism that still exists in this country that does everything from: denying black people home loans with similar credit ratings as white peoples, or how banks charge higher interest rates on homes, or how they refuse small business loans to black borrowers, or how black homes in suburban neighborhoods are often undervalued, or how white people from outside urban neighborhoods take civil service jobs that usually have residency requirements from actual residents, which steals the resources out of those neighborhoods, or how tax money from affluent states that is largely generated by jobs in urban neighborhoods is used by the federal government to prop up economies of poor southern states when that same money could be used to improve the education system or the socio-economic conditions of the states it’s stolen from. (You can include large urban cities in the rural south, they getting robbed too)

There is a lot that could be done. But pretending race isn’t involved is a flat out lie.

Lmfao nice racial propaganda. What about the 2 black teenagers that broke into my 94 year olds neighbor (white guy) house and beat him to death for a 30 case of beer hahahaha why can’t it read man shoots teen? Lmao but you put a race label on it hahahahaha.

Really obvious to see the racism here. Hypocritical

love the labeling of this headline. Lmfao if you people can’t see the media promotes racism and then blames it on us. When you make it racism you are the real racist. hahaha. No way you people can’t see this. Haha.if you can’t there is no hope for humanity. AND PEOPLE BELIEVE THE MEDIA!! So sad to see their tiny brains is being programmed and taken advantage of.

Furthermore why don’t you people go read the real and full story instead of letting liberals divide us and brainwashing you. This is literally liberal racism at the core. Wow just wow.

Nick Lanza the problem is that gun ownership in the USA is 140:100. Nowhere else in the world is it even remotely that high. No where else in the world are mass shootings that prevalent. It’s not only about the shooter, it is about the loose gun laws and easy accessibility of guns. When guns are an option, their use is more pronounced. In countries where it’s not as easy to get a gun, there are fewer mass shootings and fewer shootings, period! The problem is not me and people like me. The problem is YOU and people like you. That is where we disagree.

Trent Cottle yeah we know that but kids think differently and people snap.Adults snap. Most of these shootings are from a toxic , hostile environment either for real or in the shooters brain. Its not an excuse but when people had enough they say screw it.
Other workplaces and schools need to forget about the shooting and study weeks or months before to figure out what made the person crack. There should be enough data by now to see how work and school environments are that trigger these the most. If there's common occurrences they need to be changed in companies as a precaution.

If the presence of human beings in your driveway or at your doorstep can be so threatening to the point that you have to start shooting at them , then you should be living in the cage or in the swamps. Being a though man does not mean to own a gun to terrorize the vulnerable ones who don’t own guns or defenseless. All the happy triggers need to take their guns to Ukraine. There is a war going on there, and they need help Those gun nuts and psychopaths can’t be taught humanity because it is a waste of precious time

Nick Lanza Whether or not Yarl was attempting the open the storm needs to be left to a jury. Yarl denied having tried to open the storm door. I have a storm door. It's easy to open, even when locked. I suspect if Yarl wanted to open it, Lester wouldn't have had to shoot through the glass on the storm door (evidencing the storm door was closed).

And shooting someone through a glass door can easily be argued as "the door was closed".

You should read all of the attachments to the post. The sentence displays Lester's problem, "5. The defendant shall have the burden of injecting the issue of justification under this section".

After having pulled the trigger twice on someone on his porch, he now must defend his actions.

Think before you shoot. I'm betting closing the front door would kept the two .32 rounds in the weapon. Just saying.

Nick Lanza you’re over-teaching. You twist things to suit your narrative. That old man obviously had skewed judgement. No sane person answers a door with gun in hand. Furthermore, elderly people who are terrified by people knocking on their door, are not fit to live alone. There are so many levels to this, none of which point to his innocence. The only defence is that he was not of sound mind, which is what I’m suggesting. If you know how and when to use a gun, knock yourself out. But if you start not being the person you once were, somebody has to intervene.

Joe Hoffman being trained in martial arts and serving this country in uniform, I assure you I'm not an internet tough guy and I don't hide behind a keyboard. I choose to exercise discipline.

Anyway. It wasn't a mistake. If you read the details the kid was just ringing the doorbell and the guy shot from the other side at a door. The kid didn't try to come in. Just nonsense. And then he shot the kid while the kid was on the ground!! He's definitely standing trial and he'll definitely be found guilty because there was no threat to him.

Once again thanks for showing your jacked up mentality.

Nick Lanza I didn’t claim that. My claim is that if there is a medical review that deems you incompetent, it is in fact the medical review that will guide authorities as to whether or not you should lose your license. So in reality, it is a doctor that ultimately decides if you’re fit to drive. Then the FLHSMV would be liable if they went against the medical review and let someone keep their license. But you’re still not answering my question. Would it not be the right thing to do to revoke a gun license from someone who is unfit to have the reasonable judgement one would expect of a responsible gun owner?

10ºNick Lanza there’s no reasoning with people like you. My point is that there are laws that forbid unfit people from qualifying for owning a gun. My parents’ judgement was very different when they got older. They were certainly not fit to own guns. Their judgement was not clear. All I’m saying if we don’t give guns to those who are unfit and may use guns when it’s not necessary to do so, it is fitting that we should also take them away from people whose judgement changes from the time that they qualified for that gun. For example, we don’t know yet, but if that old man had Alzheimer’s, should he be allowed to keep his gun? I don’t think he should. Like I said we take drivers licenses away from the elderly when they’re unfit to drive. We should def take their guns away if a doctor feels it would be unduly dangerous to allow them to keep a weapon.
