You don’t settle a lawsuit with a lawsuit if you did nothing wrong. CNN saw the cost of trying to beat this and knew it was far cheaper to settle with the kid. The amount they would pay their lawyers to to try to defend it would’ve cost them more than paying him. Especially if it went to a jury who could award a bigger amount. You have no idea and your response is he’s only worth this much. CNN knew they were going to lose and paid a good amount. Again fox and cnn are exactly the same and the only difference is which one you support.

It could be because Roscoe plays an important role in his work, often assisting in the resolution of disputes and controversies, so he may have been called to respond to some kind of emergency. It is also possible that it was because he had a family or friend who needed his help and support in an emergency.
Whatever the reason, the urgency of this call seems to have forced Roscoe to leave his birthday celebration and take the necessary action. We hope he was able to handle this emergency and get the support and help he needed when he needed it.
