About a third of book bans reported in fall 2022 were a result of new state laws, free speech group says

Book bans in public schools kept rising during the first half of the 2022-23 school year, and nearly a third of them were the direct result of newly enacted state laws, a new report says.

a fair and impartial review of the issue would be appropriate, but i would never expect cnn to do that. I think for the most part the book "banning" is not book banning but to make sure the books are age appropriate. That is where most people land, at least the ones that can think. The way the article is written is pathetic, statements such as “Now, those books are being ripped away from students who need access to diverse ideas, information, characters, and stories,” Meehan said. It makes me instantly not want to read the article because I can already tell you how the story ends.

If Fox can be sued for lying and defamation, maybe you should come clean. Book dumping and those books being removed are not book bans. Egalitarianism under the guise of equality is not Civil Rights. Now you Black Activists peddling CRT as cover for the LGBT. The Klan showing up at the MLK Memorial saying that you are lying, and for money you ended the “Dream.” As a real Black Man, my linage did not lie in Alabama. It explains why no position or argument starts after the passage of the Civil Rights Act. That the past is the mechanism for Black Dispositions today. BLM, to CRT, take a few dollars and be less.
