The Environment DOES need to be a priority however the restrictions on manufacturers and traditional Energy Sources in the US will not solve the problem. Every developing country wants what we have and our solo efforts will not correct the problem. Whether you like it or not developing countries will rely on traditional sources of energy. SO if we really want to have a global impact we need to focus on a base platform of optimizing and expanding best practices in traditional energy while gradually incorporating alternatives. We cannot continue to hand cuff our industrial base that has to compete globally. If we can optimize traditional energies other countries will follow. From there we can continue to phase in alternatives. Trying to do it alone will only destroy our economy and insure the major polluters will bury us. THIS IS A REALITY CHECK our politicians have outwardly manipulated the issues for political gain. We must lead from a solid energy base that will be used globally over time.
