4ºThis case is a waste of time, by the letter of the law its not infringement. Let's hope the jury plays by the letter of the law. Ed Sheeran did not copy the Marvin Gaye song. Since it is going to a jury its a crap shoot. and Townsend's family is just money grubbing or else they would have sued all the other songs that are similar. 12 notes. There are 12 notes to play with vs millions of songs. This is a bad precedent. The world would be a sad place without music. Shame on the Townsend family.
