5ºDavid Moore - Well, actually, not so fast... because FYI... it appears that the only things that CNN was guilty of in the Sandmann case, along with a few other media companies, would have been that they settle with Sandmann too soon instead of going to court (and after tonight's CNN broadcast of Traitor Trump's propaganda tour, I won't be backing or supporting CNN and their sponsors any longer)
And it been reported that CNN and the other companies did it because they didn't want to get tied up in a long legal battle. But the other media sources who didn't settle and went before a judge, actually DIDN'T lose, and they DIDN'T pay out anything and the judge sided with the the defendants in the case, NOT Sandmann (see blow)
And the amount of the settlements have never been disclosed, because it probably wasn't much more than what it would have cost the companies in legal fees to go to court...and the reason we can guess that's more than likely the case, is because none of the media sources who settled out of court with Sandmann ever filed the paperwork that would have been required for their shareholders, etc.. if the payout was a large amount... just saying!...
