As terrible as what happened is, and she’s certainly no victim here, but some of you need to remember all of the times in your own life that you made mistakes, or chose to drive home from the bar, or a party, etc, after having drank earlier, or any time in your life that you made decisions where others could have been affected but thankfully by the grace of God were not! You can believe this woman didn’t drive that evening with the intention of taking anyone’s life & although that doesn’t excuse the results of her behavior, those of you on here talking about “the worst punishment wouldn’t be enough” or “I hope she does the rest of her life in there” You people have a habit of separating yourselves from reality in these moments, as if this couldn’t have just as easily have been you, or your child, or spouse, etc. & If it had been, only then would you be pleading for others mercy and grace, calling in every favor! The fact that some of you are acting as if you’re in the stands of a Roman Coliseum, cheering to see her suffer! There’s something wrong with you. One woman has already lost her life as a result of this tragedy, another was critically injured. The absolute best scenario is that this woman, does a fair & reasonable amount of time in prison, where she will be rehabilitated and have time to learn from her mistakes, and that she returns to society later in life and leads a successful one, finds love and happiness & spiritual healing through Jesus Christ. The absolute best thing she can do for the woman’s life she took, is to make the absolute best of her own & to be a blessing to as many others as she possibly can. I didn’t know the bride, but she seemed like a good person, and good people don’t seek to see others suffer! I’m sure she would want the same for her. It’s easy to be selfish and emotionally charged in these situations, but you forget that this woman’s family didn’t do anything at all to deserve what they’re going through anymore than the brides, and they’re now losing a daughter & loved one as well, maybe in a different way but it’s loss all the same. I spent 5 years of my life in & out of prison & maybe it’s because I’ve seen firsthand just how people that have done the most heinous of things, can find redemption and new life through either Christ, or just sheer desire to atone for their wrongdoings. These people after some time, become such entirely new person’s it’s almost cruel to punish them for the crimes “someone else” committed. While they may share the same body, their spirit couldn’t be further apart. You all should be ashamed, making others tragedies your own. Do you see the family, or the groom on here bashing this woman? Demanding blood for blood? They’re the ones affected, not you! & I hope this will serve as a lesson to others, about not driving under the influence OF ANYTHING! So that it prevents any of us from possibly having to suffer the same. But let’s be clear here, her driving drunk didn’t make her any more or less likely to harm someone, than you driving with your Starbucks cup in one hand, and your cell phone in the other behind the wheel. In those split seconds where you weren’t paying attention, this could just as easily of happened to you & still may & you’re gonna hope that in that event, people have some degree of compassion towards you, even if you don’t deserve it! Because that’s what being human is all about! I pray that God doesn’t look upon us with the same judgement that some of you do, and that when we have to answer for our sins, we’re not held before a jury of people like you!

“We cannot fathom what the families are going through and offer our deepest sympathies. We simply ask that there not be a rush to judgment. Our court system is founded upon principles of justice and mercy and that is where all facts will come to light,” Christopher Gramiccioni, an attorney for Komoroski, told CNN in a statement.

Are you kidding me?!?!! That’s disgusting and ridiculous. The good thing is that yes, all things will come to light, and she will pay for her decisions. Unfortunately the family will have no recompense for their deceased loved one no matter the punishment. Very sad.

Regardless of the sentence, she is going to live with the punishment the rest of her life - she drove drunk and killed a person, a bride, on her wedding night. The prison time won’t matter. The guilt will be overwhelming for the rest of her life. Alcohol impairs *judgment*. Exhibit A is right here . For the love of everyone, just get a taxi or Uber whether you plan on having 1 drink or 6. It’s not worth the risk if plans change. The enticement to grab the keys isn’t there. You HAVE to use a driver service. Make that decision in advance when you’re sober. It can save lives.

Va Nessa I judge her actions. I pray she gets help in prison. I hope that others do to.

Just because I expressed my opinion on how selfish it is to drive drunk doesn't mean that I don't have sympathy for what got her there.

A 19 year old kid shot a cop yesterday fleeing because he robbed someone. That breaks my heart in so many levels. Yes, I think he needs to go to prison for that. I wish it never came to that. I wish he had a chance to see another way. He is a repeat offender at 19, 19!!

Ken Friedrich God doesn't have to do things our way to be considered good His standard is way higher than ours we know people will die,we grieve when they die before their time or in unnatural ways but God keeps bringing us back to this point that He makes by allowing untimely unnatural deaths that we should be more concerned with how we live and whether He's pleased with our lives then we should be over how and when we will die because we've been dying since we were born so it's not like death is still a surprise still we know we can die but are we living like we want to die or like we want to live?

This makes me sick. People have always been dying from DWI. A sensor can be put in evey car in the whole country you do not need to blow into anything the sensors are so powerful you just need to get in the vehicle,, and if you have had three beers your car won't start, but the country does not want that. MADD, Mothers against drunk drivers think they are exempt they get DWI too. This is not news, someone is getting killed in a crash right now. The court house is a business, they will lose to much money from what the federal government pays the state for every DWI they send to prison. If a person gets like two year sentence, this does nothing for the DWI problem, it sends someone to prison thats it. It has never worked. That person will be in one county for like 5 months, so that county gets paid from federal gov. to house him, then send him to another county for like 6 months. so now that county gets a piece of the pie. The federal government pay the state $180.00 a day to house an inmate in prison x 365 days in a year. $65,000.00 two years, 131,400.00, It is all about money.
