Mike DePolo talk about a win-win Trump goes on makes their idiot moderator look like a biased complete and total moron the audience was clapping and cheering he boosted their ratings three to four times just by showing up and answering all the questions and doing a great job he pissed off all of their own commentators to the point where they were telling them they don't care if anybody watches their Network anymore all their 500 viewers are pissed off and claim they're not going to watch anymore so he ruins their future ratings they spent all day yesterday talking about him and I have renews platform available whether it's Social Media newspapers TV radio or face-to-face in the bar or restaurant talk about it a massive win for Trump that was freaking awesome

Large shopping malls are over. The lease prices that those landlord thieves charge are criminal. Small business's dont have a chance in those big boxes. Many of those mall locations became hangouts for those that were not there to shop for anything except drugs. We used to have the fun teenage mall rats there for social activity. Now they're gone and just become rats. Parents wont let them go there. Most parents. Restrooms are not a place to go pee anymore.. Security is a joke. You hire a min wage guy dressed up in an ill-fitting saggy uniform and you get what you pay for. Landlords do security (if they even have it) on the cheap. There's a very good reason that Amazon and other internet shopping has taken over such a large footprint in American retail commerce. The slow and advancing deterioration of mall and downtown shopping began back in the late 80's and hasnt managed to recover. Exceptions? Sure. A few.

Richard Shield The good news, Bubba, is that nowhere in the article does it blame this whole thing on crime. You must have skipped over the other 347 words. You must have gotten something in your eye where you missed the part about online shopping, remote work, and a glut of stores. You even missed this part: "Walgreens said it saw a spike in losses, known as shrink, during the pandemic and cited organized retail crime in its decision to close five San Francisco stores in 2021. But it recently backtracked. “Maybe we cried too much last year” about shrink numbers, a Walgreens executive said in January." But, ya know, YOU know the real reason is crime. Go back to bed.

Helps if you tag people properly, Christopher.
It comes off less cowardly when they actually get the notification that you're trying to reply to them.

And Trump (& by extension, every freak desperate to fellate him) keep talking about how low gas was. It was at it's lowest when no one was driving. They always fail to take that into account. Yeah it was on him, but it was on him because he was slow to deal with covid & dumb enough to let it become a problem lmao. But hey, bud, appreciate your anecdote. Really makes quite the argument. I'm currently paying $0.75 a gallon now.

How about the self-checkouts? Do you think that people are happy to come from work to buy groceries and start working in a store, for free?? How about improving the services to their loyal customers? I always supported the local economy, but when they refuse to check out my stuff because there are self-checkouts available, I draw the line. How about using ONE single entry in a huge Superstore, because they want to control the flow (???), so the customers have to walk like a mile to get out of the store. How's that for a solution? Make it easier for customers! Respect them! Appreciate them! Without them, the business dies. And yes, there is a lot of stealing... As simple as that. I miss the small corner stores... We were friends, we trusted each other, we helped each other...

Glenn Pladsen . So you feeeeel Trump told Putin to have Ukraine and Putin waited till Biden allowed the completion of Nord Stream 2 and for Biden war on energy to elevate the oil and gas prices?? . In what parallel does that make any sense. So everyone who has facts on his side is a “Russian troll” because somehow Russians care what some ignorant leftist thinks? . You’re a typical Democrat. You have zero facts and now you will crawl back into your bubble where you’re not exposed to facts. I hope you’re brave enough to try and explain to me how “Trump weakened NATO”? . By telling NATO countries to increase military spending? By telling Germany not to get addicted to Russian oil and gas and not to make Putin rich over the heads of our Eastern European NATO allies??? Well, at least your dog can stand you. Or not.

Glenn Pladsen One of the reasons for the Town Hall on the part of cnn was to try and increase ratings which like the rest of the media outlets other than Fox have nosedived. Their ratings in fact did rise dramatically that evening to the tune of 3 million viewers, right on par with the Fox channel on in the same time slot which garners that amount of viewers every night. Not saying they are a better media outlet but they have great ratings and lead the pack over the other outlets. I cannot believe that it is because millions of viewers or all deplorables...

Rob Touw You don't sound like the Downtown demographic talking about parking. The Downtown demographic shops at stores because of how accessible it is without dealing with parking.

The article doesn't say crime is irrelevant. It's a business factor like everything else is. The article suggests the stores struggle more because they have lots of competition. Downtown Los Angeles in 2008 had a Ralph's grocery store. In 2023, we have Ralph's, Whole Foods, Smart and Final, Target, and about 50 million CVS stores. Ralph's used to be the place to get everything, including Starbucks. Now there's 5 Starbucks between my apartment and Ralphs.

with Trump we at least had a president who opposed violent crime.
With His Fraudulency in office, we NOW have a president who will continue to appease and embolden the domestic terrorists in Black Lives Matter and Antifa, continue to denigrate the police, and do all of this while trying to disarm law-abiding Americans. Already under the Biden regime, we have had an explosion of mass shootings as well as a domestic Islamic terror attack. the outside terrorist that have crossed the border we will have to worry about. Then Dems will blame the citizens of the US on terrorism…
