You asserted every state near NY makes it hard to get guns. As someone in a nearby state, I said it isn't hard at all. You then proceeded to act like you knew better & list laws, none of which were ultimately really all that restrictive even. That doesn't mean gun control doesn't work, it only reinforces the initial point that you need to regulate everywhere in a similar capacity to cut down on guns coming from other places.

Your whole point was that my state was restrictive, Franklin. Like you thought you knew better than me. I said it really ultimately isn't that restrictive at all. You listed off a bunch of very obvious restrictions that really don't prevent anyone from getting anything. And some of those easily obtained guns here illegally end up in places where they're harder to get.

If they were actually restricted here in the same manner, the place with the harder laws wouldn't have the same problem they do right now.

I understand it takes like an ounce of nuance, sport, but c'mon. It's not that difficult.


Jared Lewis just say it. Stop hiding and say it. But I will tell you this. Even if guns were banned in the US. Criminals would still have them as they already shown they don't give a care about state restrictions. The border is a great place to smuggle guns. Add what they call international arms dealers will find ways to sell guns. Take the illegal immigrants you support. They come from countries that have nationwide gun bans and restrictions but you guys claim there is so much gun violence there they have to come here. How's that when you believe nationwide gun bans and restrictions will suddenly significantly decrease or stop gun violence. You can't have it both ways


Franklin, I'm not hiding anything. I quite literally just got done saying I wasn't for a ban & you CONTINUE to fight this strawman in your head that somehow also ISN'T from Pennsylvania & knows the laws better than you.

I'm not babybrained like you. I know even if there were a ban it wouldn't mean 'NO GUNS.'

But while there are always going to be Yuri Orlov's out there or whatever, drastically reducing the number of guns out there will cut down significantly on how many people are getting plugged in this country DAILY. And given how far the cat's out the bag, I'll HAPPILY take THAT, just a signficant reduction in the number of people dying.

THE 9th AMENDMENT

The right to abortion does NOT have to be stated in the Constitution in order to be a constitutional right…and there are many, many more unstated rights.

Benjamin Franklin, key Founding Father of America, shaper and signer of our Constitution, published a handbook titled “The American Instructor” that featured a long, detailed section on do-it-yourself abortion and conception prevention. The book was very popular throughout America, especially in the many farming towns where unwanted pregnancies were an economic hardship on farming families.

Franklin’s book should be republished and complimentary copies given to each of the “originalists” on the Court who claim that America has always been opposed to abortion.
