Richelle Wallace sadly you are correct, and I wish him the best and hope he quickly moves away from his current publicity with guns and learns a lesson too. It would be awful and sad to end his athletic career because of being human and making a mistake that ruins his career. In regards to Kid Rock, he is also taking advantage of Congress not enforcing legislation and laws that restrict all Americans from obtaining AR-15 rifles. I understand if criminals have guns then all citizens should also legally obtain a firearm such as a pistol to protect their family, property from burglaries etc However, no citizen should have a firearm that is for military purposes. Congress and the Biden and Harris Administration should return to the law No AR 15 guns that should slow down mass shootings in malls, schools, theaters etc

No Ja didn’t shoot anyone, but as an nba athlete, I think in a contract whatever, they are held to a higher standard, as role models to society.
So in two separate social media, he pointed a gun.
He was suspended and fined for several games, had to enter into counseling sessions, and the nba commissioner told him never to do this again.
Well today, I got a notification on my smartphone that he had a second video and Ja was holding a gun too.
Apparently, his recent counseling sessions like a month ago didn’t help him much at all. So he violated NBA rules conduct detrimental to the league.

For those saying it's not illegal for him to possess the weapon that is correct. It's not illegal. But most pro athletes have a morality clause in their contracts. If the player conducts any activities that they feel endorses their brand/product (in this case the Memphis Grizzlies organization) in a negative light or display questionable behavior they can punish them as they see fit. Even terminate them if they so choose. Doesn't matter if it's actually legal as far as the actual law goes or not. And knowing he was just in trouble for this same act not too long ago he can't blame anyone but himself. Fly low, man.

Any idiots who would defend his actions obviously have zero brain cells that would let them know that as a member of the NBA, players are beholden to certain things they can and cannot do. Certain cultures live with the kind of attitudes that make them think they are above the law, think law enforcement doesn't have the right to pull them over when they're breaking road rules or that they have the rights to enter commercial businesses and steal whatever they want. Then they wonder why they get detained, arrested or shot. Yep these people are forever doomed to learn the hard way.

RL Howard ... when the other folks you're referring to become exceptional athletes they will be held accountable if they are caught doing likewise. These contracts include clauses that indicate it would be a violation if the behaviour of the player negatively impacts the team or puts them in an embarrassing position. It will soon be divulged if this is a second violation or an old video. With all the gun violence in communities ... some involving young black males ... this is not a good look. "Some folks have a right to show themselves with guns"? Is it necessary to show off?

RL Howard there’s a pending investigation. But…..it’s an NBA league moral clause issue. It’s his second time in two months. He was just suspended for eight games for a similar thing. I really like Ja Morant. However, he’s acting like fat meat is not greasy and that he did not sign an NBA contract. Part of the contract is upholding a polished image and lately I don’t know what’s going on. And, I hope they don’t think of this as brandishing a gun, because that is different than displaying. At any rate, he knows better by now. If you wanna proceed in this manner, give up your NBA contract. Because you can’t have it both ways, especially in this environment. Adam Silver is going to be forced to do something. He will likely be suspended without pay for a significant part of the upcoming season. These are self inflicted wounds.

His sponsors are going to start dropping him. Watch. And the Grizzlies as an organization have to be concerned as it affects their brand.

Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong BUT....

•Isn't he of legal age to own a gun.
•Isn't he not a convicted felon.
•Isn't this America.
NFL players, NBA players alike are proud gun owners. Have taken pictures with their guns, especially going on hunting trips, along with the wildlife they have hunted.
This is the real conversation that we need to be having!!!
Why is it that Caucasian NBA/NFL players can be proud gun owners and show pictures and videos of them posing with guns and deceased animals they've hunted and be called "American", but a African American ball player with a gun is considered a thug or criminal and can be punished for it.? Why is he being punished for doing something that's not against the law?
WHERE ARE THE GUN ACTIVIST
Again I ask isn't this America, land of the free, land of 2nd amendment rights, land of being proud of having a gun?

He can actually sue the NBA for violating his constitutional rights, and he should!!!
