Sherry Gale So what you’re saying is that there are enough egg producers and product that there shouldn’t be extremely high prices.

Prices skyrocketed in the winter we were told, because of the avian flu, but also because it was the holidays. We were making cakes and cookies and had guests over. We went through a dozen eggs a weekend. Now it’s summer. We’re not cooking like we were. People are dieting. The price dropped.

Supply and demand is another term for price gouging. If there is only one of something and 1000 people want it, more can be charged for it.
