Daniel Penny, the man who held Jordan Neely in a fatal chokehold, says race had nothing to do with it, New York Post reports

The Marine veteran who held a Black man in a deadly chokehold aboard a New York City subway train defended his actions and told the New York Post the killing “had nothing to do with race.”

Luis Victoria I asked you how you would suggest he restrain the person and you did not answer the question you make a lame attempt at an insult, you must be a younger kid or a really childish adult. This is the real world you don't have time to think of everything that could or might happen you just take action to protect others and yourself the best way you can. Seems like you have never been in a situation where you had to defend yourself and use split second decision making, those people would have been in trouble had they had to relie on you for help, let's hope your never in that sort of situation where you have to help anyone or defend yourself.

Donna Wilkerson on what? What is wrong with you? Are you really siding with these hateful and destructive Democrats? Do you like the way how they turn your communities into third world war zones? Do you like how they release criminals upon your communities to keep regular working Black Americans terrorized? Do you like how they lie and censor the truth? Do you like how they viciously attack any Black man or woman if that person is too smart to be a dumb Democrat. When Larry Elder, a smart Black man tried to save California YOUR party hate labeled him “a Black face of white supremacy”. I hope you live in a Democrat run state and city forever. You’ve no shame and probably not that much intellect either.

Maybe someone should put a choke hold on parents that verbally or physically abuse sporting officials and other spectators, especially at children’s sporting events. Some people may says

"what that got to do with anything?

Nothing!

Only the fact that Jordan Nealy didn’t physically abuse or assault anybody on that train. His only crime was that, he’s homeless, hungry and thirsty.

Then these faux Christians compare him with “The Good Samaritan” The thing with that, he took an injured man, and took care of him until he was well. Read the story in the Bible for context.

Penny may not have killed him because of race, however he may be guilty of lack of empathy, compassion and humanity.

A real Samaritan or Christian would’ve offered Jordan and a meal and something to drink.

Joe Tran “sneaking up”? This guy had 8 calls in to 911 reference threats to innocent civilians. Police did NOTHING. Mental health funding is nonexistent. Just put them back on the streets to threaten others and cause chaos. There has to be a breaking point. Well, throw the marine in prison.
You never “see” a marine stop a mass murderer or stabbing?? They don’t make the news if it was a successful stop. No fun reporting that. No revenue. No dividing our country then. But if media finds a juicy story they can make about race and someone dies…. Headlines!!!!
A Hero stopped innocent people from being harmed after many many threats — the police wouldn’t.

OH, Babbit. The unarmed female veteran that was shot dead by a security guard? That is such a BIG pivot from the topic at hand, you threw me off. I see you knew I was talking about Taylor when I mentioned her shooting at cops and having a dead body in her trunk. Babbit was one of four killed by security guards that day. Three were assaulted outside the capitol and killed. The video is being released, slowly showing Pelosi was running the whole puppet show. Hope every protestor who was in jail gets a million dollar payout and official apology from our government.

It's sad that we live in a world where a guy defends himself and people on a train from a guy who threatens to assault and kill people screaming that he doesn't care about the consequences and accidentally kills him, which don't get me wrong he needs to pay the price for that decision. But then he has to defend the fact that it wasn't done because he's a racist simply because the guy was black and you know of course had a lifetime of mental illness 40 plus different arrests for assault battery and other terrible things. But the good thing is think of all the people in the future that he saved from being assaulted beaten possibly stabbed or attacked or even killed by this guy. What do they say there's a ray of sunshine and every cloudy day. Oh well

Motubatse Ndumiso I don't completely disagree, I disagree that it's most but will say alot of whites are racist without even knowing it. And that is mostly because of ignorance. Serious question do you think as racism has existed in this country as time has gone on that most blacks now have become inherently racist towards whites to the point that if anything is done to a black person by a white person it's now automaticly a racist issue even if it had nothing to do with color because of racism that they have experienced and their parent and grandparents have experienced?

Larry Dewachter I'm all for helping mentally ill but leaving them on the street is no answer either.
In Missouri, If somebody is a drug addict and gets convicted they serve their time but with treatment. Once out, if they break their probation by using, they don't go back to jail anymore. They go to the secure treatment facility in Jefferson City.
So I do understand helping people rather than just incarcerating them but there's something very wrong when somebody is arrested over 40 times and is still allowed on the streets.
Also many cities don't even have bail anymore. A night in jail was a deterrent but now they're just back out before midnight. There is no consequences. Not all of these people have mental problems some people are just criminals.

Paula Byron really so the people riding the subway should be in fear of their lives I hope u never get attacked but if u do I hope someone would stand up and be a man and protect u do u know how many times that man had been arrested he should not been out of jail but thanks to liberal DAs in New York he lost his life maybe u should learn more about the story and I pray u are never are in the situation that the people in that subway were that day where are their rights?

10ºMONDAY, MAY 15, 2023, POSTED ON THE BLOOMBERG BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE AT 8.55 AM [2.55 AM ET] [11.55 PM PT]

I figured I should give an update at this time, so that you may know what is happening on my part or side, and see if you will be able to ascribe something or anything to what I am doing, or because of what I have done.

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, I began to fast at 5.00 am, and then ended the next day, Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 9.00 am. So maybe I had figured I should report to you what I reported to you the day after, (which was Friday, May 5, 2023,) which I posted on Bloomberg Business Facebook Page at 12 midnight Eastern time, which was at 6.00 am local time here in Malawi, MAYBE BECAUSE I HAD DONE THAT, or fasted for one day. And then I rested for at least 2 full days, and then began again to fast on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 6.00 am. Now when the intention is to fast for one day only, then I am able to begin to fast anytime at dawn because I have no need to strengthen myself with food, because it is just one day only, you know. But when I intend to fast for more than three days, then I figure I should have a meal before I begin to do this thing, as it is written in the book of 1 Kings, chapter 19, verse 7;

[1] And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.
[2] Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
[3] And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.
[4] But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
[5] And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.
[6] And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.
[7] And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; BECAUSE THE JOURNEY IS TOO GREAT FOR THEE.
[8] And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

So when I did that, I exceeded indeed the three days, as I had intended to do so. But when I had accomplished 4 full days, and as the day went on, I changed my mind, and figured I should continue this thing another time, even although I felt I still had some more strength to go on. And so I ended on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 3.57 pm, (which was when my prayer to God had ended,) having begun to fast on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 6.00 am. Now whenever I, or anybody else for that matter I suppose, have exceeded the three days especially, and have reached either day number four, or five, or six, neither eating nor drinking anything, something happens which is that I throw up or that I vomit, (but not vomiting food since the stomach does not contain food by such a time,) which I figure is the normal reaction or physiology of the body, and is the message that the body sends to the individual himself or herself, to warn him or her that he or she has broken through that line or barrier. So I know that I still had some more strength to go on, because I did not throw up.

But I have already told you before that scientists have already concluded that nobody can exceed EIGHT days without eating or drinking anything. And besides, you yourselves also are aware that in every disaster the mission changes from rescue mission to recovery after 8 days have elapsed. Moreover I have also told you that in the book of 1 Samuel, chapter 31, verse 13, it is written as follows:

[8] And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
[9] And they cut off his head, and stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the house of their idols, and among the people.
[10] And they put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth: and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.
[11] And when the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead heard of that which the Philistines had done to Saul;
[12] All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
[13] And they took their bones, and buried them under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted SEVEN days.

So that was that. But maybe I figured I should give this update to you because one of the pieces [which contained 10 matches] of the ticket that I had placed online on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 1.09 pm, that concerns sports betting has won, albeit not the real ticket itself, which contained 56 matches, nine of which did not happen as I had predicted. And as usual the stake that I had placed both on every piece, and on the full ticket itself was MWK1.00. And the winning value or prize this time around is MWK22.30. So the ten games that were on the piece that has won, before I merged it with other pieces, to build a full ticket, are these:

Ligue 1, France:
RC Lens v Stade Reims, prediction being at least 2 goals, and the match ended 2-1. Odds, 1.22.

SATURDAY'S MATCHES,

Strasbourg Alsace v OGC Nice, prediction being at least 2 goals, and the match ended 2-0. Odds, 1.35.

Stade Brest 29 v AJ Auxerre, prediction being not more than 3 goals, and the match ended 1-0. Odds, 1.23.

Stade Rennes v ESTAC Troyes, prediction being at least 2 goals, and the match ended 4-0. Odds, 1.15.

Toulouse v FC Nantes, prediction being TOULOUSE either to win or to draw, and the match ended 0-0. Odds, 1.33.

Olympique Marseille v SCO Angers, prediction being that both teams will score at least a goal, and the match ended 3-1. Odds, 2.12.
