Chantel P-Williams you know you actually have a really good point. Trump truly is a result of lackluster voter turnout, amongst young people and people who tend to be less conservative. Conservatives, especially right leaning conservatives tend to be more politically obsessed, and have more of a grievance mentality, which sends them to the voter booth.
But I think that’s really going to change now in 2024, because Roe versus Wade being overturned, sent shockwaves through a very large voting block of people who are women and men who don’t consider themselves conservative or or at least middle of the road. Conservatives became very arrogant and two obsessed with a cause that they didn’t realize would actually hurt them, politically probably, for a decade. The republican party is paying the price for the Reagan campaign infusing evangelicalism with conservatism.
This created a divide between non-religious conservatives and evangelicals that Trump has made much much worse.

What I’m worried about though is that young men in the last few years have become really disenfranchised because they have been made to think there’s something wrong with him and Republicans have figure this out and are trying to take advantage of that… Democrats need to fix that.
