1ºA Michigan third circuit court judge once said "where lawyers, judges, jury and the general public may have weeks if not months to determine a life or death situation case police officers only have a Split Second.
With that being said I personally believe if we pay these officers what they are truly worth we would get a better quality candidate for policing. The problem seems to be that these police officers are scared of their own shadow or anything that is as dark as their shadow!
Another problem I noticed with hiring police officers who have previously served in our military as they seem to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. The DOD does have a program for clearing such soldiers, but that program does not work. It's like allowing a pitbull to have his first taste of blood and expecting it to be playful around children. When hiring ex-military people there needs to be a civilian PTSD test to guarantee that these people are qualified to hold a gun in the General Public because in their mind a lot of them still believe it's wartime with people who don't look like them.

They Litteraly directed everyone to exit the home. This little guy did Exactly what he was told to do, and he was Shot!!
If you don't believe there is a MAJOR disconnect with response training and proper securing of an active crime scene, then there is very little left to discuss!
I have absolutely no doubt this officer went into this situation wanting nothing else than to help!
That's what they do, and what we pray will happen when we call for help!
But you MUST admit that there is a major difference between the mindset when they enter into a home in certain 'areas' than others...
3ºKai Starr I know, I don't mean to be offensive, just that no matter how we put, it's a fact, that we all matter, we should all embrace humanity and love together, I know black have been and are still going through alot in the U.S and we all are not comfortable with it, we also fighting together against it, it's a simple logic , as black lives matter and important, so also are others the whites , the Indians, and all foreigners suffering in one way or the other in the U.S. , are We are one people irrespective of our colours, sizes or shapes, so all our lives matter, that's what I meant
4ºKimoria Ford remedied the situation, it was unwanted collateral damage, not the best outcome for sure , things happen no one is perfect! I'm sure the officer did say oh there's a kid let me take him down, it was an instant reaction to someone popping out from behind a corner! Kinda like someone that pulls out into traffic and an accident happens, they aren't made out to be criminals it's a mistake, but the officer rendered aid etc! He isn't a criminal, may need more training etc , maybe check into what training specifically he had it might mean he didn't get enough! Chance to stop it from happening in future! I don't condone the kid being shot but I don't just immediately condemn the officer either
5ºThat cop should be in a jail cell. There's no way if this had been the other way around would the cop be chilling at the house getting paid. My momma used to say, anyone can say whatever they want but ACTIONS SPEAKS LOUDER. The crickets are out of sight tonight Too? All lives matter, but it can't begin to be true until every policeman is held accountable. You cannot lie enough to make it Make Sense. Some act like we're naive to the same ole' scenario. I've lived over 60 years and don't see anything different. It always comes in a different package.
6ºWilliam Potts ok I’ll agree with you! WTE people are the majority so that only makes sense! But most white folks think blacks are the number one criminals! They say blacks make up 13 percent of the population but contribute 50 of the crime! Well when you have a WTE system that targets blacks of course your gonna have high percentage that “ prove” it! Which is still a lie! I live in NEBRASKA and work All threw the Midwest! Guess who makes up the crime rates here? Not blacks! When I worked lost prevention guess who I caught stealing every day??? 8ºJust a bunch of key board warriors that weren't there. Agree police need more training. Studies show this. And also when politicians and civilians go through a stress course firing range. The person has to make a split second decision to shoot or not. Instructors found politicians and civilians failed. They shot when they shouldn't have. Stress how will you do undervthe same senario?? I'm pro conceal carry but persons carring need training and update that training and practice skills fir defensive. Whomever shoots is solely responsible fir each and every bullet so ? Careful how you stand keyboard warriors.
9ºAxel Foley you’re wrong. We don’t do that, some do put not all of us. Most of us think there needs to be reform. Badly! We get killed by police also. In sheer numbers we are the ones that are mostly killed by police. This is what I don’t get. Why is it when a cop kills someone, we get blasted. Even in this case, it was a black cop that shot that boy. Just like the 5 black cops that beat Tyre Nichols. That was blamed on who the white man became we used our power of racism to influence those 5 cops to beat that man to death.

Upon arrival, police yelled for everyone in the house to come out with their hands up, the boy recalled. And when Aderrien came, he was shot.
“I just tried to follow the police commands but I guess that didn’t work,” the child said.
After the shooting, the child was given a chest tube and placed on a ventilator, CNN has reported. He had a collapsed lung, fractured ribs, and a lacerated liver, his mother has said. He was released from the hospital Wednesday.
