America votes Tuesday. Here's what's at stake.


Judges are hard. The fact that we vote for them at all is weird.

What I do is look at how they pitch themselves. You can usually get a read on what sort of temperament, values and legal beliefs they have based on who they are trying to reach.

Oh, and ballot measures are fun. Everyone is lying about them, but the worst one was a letter in opposition to one, signed by just some random guy. Except no, it wasn't a random guy, it was a GOP rep who pushed against the measure extensively, but not very publicly, and he didn't disclose that on the voter guide.

As if I needed another reason not to trust the GOP.
