On a related note, what is it with American, usually conservative, posters who seem to feel that ANY job path other than going into politics is acceptable but making a career in politics is not? Given the complexity of the issues coming before politicians at all levels one might think that knowledge and experience and training would be a good thing. I guess these posters are the ones who sent Boebert and MTG and Gym Jordan to Washington (and by extension Kavanagh, Gorsuch, Alito and Thomas to the Court) - good job.
