1ºNot a political post for either parties but from the north american perspective since it is a common issue...I'm sure I'm not as smart as all the North American politician but I have to wonder why there is not virtual solution being explored) that will stop them from showing up at the border. First it seems that they want a better life, security and free of political corruption in their south American country. We also hear that we have many jobs going unfilled. We also are told they want to work. We also know what would prevent them from entry and conditions that they have to meet. Why are we not posting these jobs on the internet for them to apply based on what skills they have that would qualify them, what conditions have to be met to not be sent back or refused at the border, ie self screen for entry and apply for the job. As it is they show up at the borders not knowing anything just to be turned away. If someone meets all conditions, is successful , then a system would be in place for them to enter through the legal entry sites as we do for legal immigration. They would be responsible to do as other north American citizens, to get to their location of employment and support themselves with their income... yes there are other issues to address but at least let us be humane, stop them from showing up at the borders, educate them up front and a win win between an employer/goverment who fills a job, a human being to have an income and pay taxes, less people at the border and less impact on the taxpayers of all the north american countries...

Guess you didn’t hear, both parties were held responsible for the disaster in Afghanistan. At least Biden didn’t invite them to Camp David like Trump wanted to.
