Robert Green I can furnish more if you like. Please let me know.

Twice impeached, inflated the prices on his real estste to scam more money out of people, mocking a disabled reporter, saying filthy things about women (yea! Jean carrol), caught cheating on spouses and having someone in his employment pay off stormy. Saying Covid would just go away and lied to people about the vaccination when he had taken it. Knowingly hiding confidential paperwork he had no right having, and whinning about it. It’s mine, I can keep it. Then saying he can declassify it, “just by thinking it.” (Yes paperwork was found other places but they gave the paperwork up and did not lie to hide it or cry like a baby), Telling people to go fight and causing an insurrection which caused deaths, destruction and others to lose their jobs because of injury. Losing an election and crying “just find me 11,000 more votes, that’s one more than we need” because he knew he lost and again, wanted to cheat. Shall I go on? These are the reasons we need him in office again? I hope not. Vote blue!!!

Edward Sanchez Gonzalez Whatabout, Whatabout, Whatabout! It don't matter who did what are what group or race a person is don't make it right at all. Wrong is wrong and do not support non of it. I support Black lives, the culture, the history and the past of black lives and we stood for equality within our justice system, no the riots wasn't right but the cause was right now...now, Jan. 6th. was a group of people attacking our Government and assaulted police officers in order to over turn the election because a cry baby President didn't want to face a lost so he made a story of election fraud and they bought it. Big difference but at the end of the day, wrong is wrong.

Good to see them using the appropriate term, riot. It was an unlawful riot with a very negligible amount of people that had unplanned grandiose ideas and committed seditious conspiracy. As for the person being sentenced for assaulting an officer... that is great news. I do not care about your politics. However, when you assault innocent people, it is wrong, period. Those were Police Officers just doing their jobs and should never have been assaulted for simply doing their jobs. Use your voice... not your hands, Politically motivated violence is not okay, regardless of the motive. We are all Americans, first and foremost, and both sides need to remember that when they use loaded political rhetoric and hyperbole to pander for support. Remember, in general, you can be correct, and the motives can be honorable. However, your personal decisions can be wrong, and you are accountable, unarguably.

Maureen W-Wright for starters, a bunch of the morons were armed with various weapons. You witnessed them beating law enforcement with objects like metal poles, riot shields they'd taken from law enforcement, chemical irritants and a few did have firearms on their person or left their firearms outside the Capitol building as to avoid federal weapons charges - See Christopher Alberts and Eric Munchel, for example.

Second, most weren't in Halloween costumes - unless you consider head to toe Trump gear a Halloween costume and I wouldn't disagree with that.

The uprising failed - their plan to 'stop the steal' was a failure, it was a failed insurrection. Mitch McConnell nailed it.

The fact they're easily manipulated morons who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag changes nothing.

The Rational Progressive ...I have seen the videos.
...
You can post a news story and even the definition of an insurrection... and stick to that argument.
...
However, there is this thing you may have missed, and it is called reality. The reality is based on the actual charges and convictions... the overwhelming majority of the charges and convictions... are all riot-related. However, you can focus on the 1% who had grandiose and unorganized ideas when they committed seditious conspiracy.
...
You should also reach out to CNN and the rest of the news outlets, who are also calling it a riot... and argue with them about it. I am sure they will halt the presses and start releasing corrections. You should also talk to the DOJ... they must have gotten it wrong!
...
Incredible story, though.

Bill Phelan to bad blue lives don't have the duty to protect the government pretends they have even though it is the government the ruled police have no duty to protect

According to the United States Supreme Court, however, officers are not legally obliged to risk their lives for the community they swore to protect — despite the way their department’s motto brags about their duty to “protect and serve.” Thankfully, it seems that most police officers take such a motto seriously and bravely put their life on the line to help others. However, such praiseworthy attitudes among many in law enforcement don’t erase the fact that no such legal duty exists — regardless of the fact that most citizens believe that is precisely what all those tax dollars are being spent to ensure. https://thenevadaindepend...t-your-children

Trump has yet to be found guilty of anything in spite of rabid Democrat attacks.
There were 4 'proud boy' morons at that riot. Even they knew there was no insurrection. They were just being they expected moron selves.
Trump organized a legal protest. He even filed for and recieved permits for the protest (unlike the six months, every night, violent protests throughout the country in 2020). Legal protests are.... legal. Rioting is illegal.
As far as the weapons. You conveniently leave out the question of whether or not carrying a weapon was legal there. It was so, Trump correctly told his security to not push it.
The facts are the facts. Twisting pieces and parts of facts to fit your narrative is wrong.
We come down to basic questions: is rioting bad and should it be punished? Answer: throughout 2020 (58 officers murdered, thousands injured, hundreds of businesses looted and burned, cars destroyed, thousands of innocent people injured, several city blocks of people and businesses taken hostage for over a month...) it was all completely legal or at minimum unpunished.
However, a four hour riot on January 6th where the only person killed was a female rioter (shot by a capital police officer... where were the riots against the police for her?). The rioters passed millions of dollars in art in those buildings and didn't loot or set any of it on fire... but... THAT is the existential crisis our country faced??
